Get ready to Multiply Your Max with the Bauer Supreme TotalOne MX3 Hockey Skates. Engineered for power and total efficiency, the TotalOne MX3 incorporates all of Bauer's industry leading innovations, and packs them into this, top of the line, high performance skate. The MX3 features classic Supreme fit and feel; a generous anatomical fit provides a slightly wider forefoot, with zero negative space throughout the heel and ankle, resulting in great comfort, and unmatched energy transfer. The Lightweight Anaform ankle padding is contoured to the natural shape of your foot, as is the nicely sculpted outer shell. These features, combined with the amazing heat molding properties of the 3D Anaformable Curv® Composite upper, provide an incredible 360 degree fit.
The Injected Stability Lacing System featured on the Vapor APX2 skate, which helps provide explosive energy transfer with every stride, has been improved upon in the MX3. With a slightly softer design, which allows for better wrap around the top of the foot, and new T-shaped eyelets to keep your lace pattern in place throughout the game, the Injected Stability Lacing System is a huge advancement, and a welcome addition to the Supreme line. The Tuuk Lightspeed Edge Holder also makes its debut in the Supreme line, allowing players to switch their lightweight Fusion EDGE runners on the fly.
The 3-Flex Tongue and Free Flex Tendon Guard features from the previous Supreme TotalOne skates have also been re-engineered. The Curv® Composite tongue insets come in three degrees of stiffness, and have a modified slit deign to allow for greater forward lean, while the Free Flex Tendon Guard now moves with the player, allowing for maximum range of motion. These features work together to provide a “spring board” effect to every stride.
The Hydra Max 2 liner is lightweight, soft to the touch, and dries out in no time, keeping your skates fresh, and helping to prolong the life of the boot. Add Bauer’s Comfort Edge feature which alleviates abrasion when digging in to tight turns, and you have a boot that’s as comfortable as it is powerful. If you’re a power skater looking for the total package, look no further than the Supreme TotalOne MX3 from Bauer.

These skates were heavenly. When I first put them on they immediately felt like a slipper. The break in time is about 2 weeks of skating 4 times a week. Other than that these are very impressive skates that have maximum comfort.Review by Jake the skater (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I got them the day they came out in Australia and as soon as I put them on they were amazingly comfortable and soo light. If your looking for a great skate you have to get the mx3sReview by hayden (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Play every monday night and used to skate CCMU+12 which were solid midline skates. First time w/ top of the line skates and was shocked w how responsive the blades are ! Had comfortable boot experience on first skate ( u must bake these & dont do it in your kitchen). great first impression, hope to get long use out of them ..stay tuned - Marc X.Review by Xman (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Wish they came in white........really, that's the comment? Light, amazing energy transfer, fit, comfort, agility.......and you want white???Review by Toepicks (Posted on 7/24/2016)
This is the sickest skate out there plain and simple. Baked them and the first time i used them was in a game. Felt like sneakers on my feet. Strides literally had more power. Skate is so light. I've had the TOs and recently the RBZs. This skate destroys them all. I cant really comment on durability yet but out of the box im positive this is the best skate available on the market right now.Review by McSorley (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Only thing i may consider is changing the runners. The LS Fusion although light feels a little tinny if that makes any sense.
Get this skate you will not be disappointed.
Have to say I knew I could not go wrong with bauer. This is my second pare of high end skates from bauer and there were no surpriseis .Play 4 times a week and flipped skates without hitch.Fit perfect out of the box but still heated them to make serton.Love the new blade trigger .I set my self up with extra blades so I we'll always be sharp.p.s and thay look great .Review by Scott the scorer (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Best skates I've ever owned. They fit great after baking. Almost no break in period. I never rush to review something. I've had these for 19 weeks averaging 3 games a week. Other than a few scratches on my blade holders and a couple of scuffs on the boot these look like they did when I opened the box. I still can't believe that this level of comfort exists. I've been skating with sore feet forever. My most comfortable skate before these were my Mission Amp 2's. I was wearing Bauer Vapor X 80s right before the MX3's. A HUGE step up from the Vapors. Of all of the advancements in skate technologies my favorite is the lacing system. Instead of the lace tightness evening out after you skate around a bit you can actually control where these stay tight and where you like them loose. I like them tight near the toes, loose over the top of the foot and then tight again near the top to keep my heel in place and then loose again at the very top. They stay exactly the way you tighten them for the whole game. I can't say enough about these skates. Anyone that says they can't spend $850 on a pair of skates doesn't know what they are missing.Review by Mark Duhan (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Simply the best skates i have ever used. Within about 30 minutes of being on ice for the first time with them they already felt more comfortable than I did with my previous vapor X-Shift skates. I felt no pain on my feet, it just felt a little weird skating at first with the longer blades and the taller holders. I have been using them for about a month now and have no regrets on spending 900 on them. Skates feel amazing, very stiff and responsive. These skates are incredibly light and just feel amazing.Review by xxxxx (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I have mx3's Apx 2's and Nexus 8000's and i like the mx3's the most i had used all of the sent back nexus so when feet grow out of mx3's i will have those and still have the apx 2'sReview by benedwards (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Even if they fit well in the store, baking will not help the high plastic exposure. I have taken the skates to a number of hockey shops to fix, and there is nothing that can be done about them. The general comment is this is a poor design. Be careful with this skate. Make certain the exposed hard plastic at the top of the boot does not affect you.Review by Not a Happy Customer (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I was really worried about throwing this much money down on a skate. Honestly, I couldn't be more satisfied. Right out of the box they felt amazing. The only thing I had an issue with at first was the pad that rests on the big toe side. I gave it time and sure enough in 3 skates it felt perfect. I literally had 0 foot pain. I bought eastons last year and I never realized how much they threw off my game. It may just be the placebo effect, but I have noticed a huge transition with balance, speed, tight turns and all round performance. Definitely recommend to an experienced player.Review by Tony (Posted on 7/24/2016)
My new mx3 are perfect and super comfortable.Review by Prepster (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I absolutely love these skates. They feel like a cross trainer shoe and are feather light. A little ankle pinch but that doesn't really bother me much. My one problem is the new lacing system. I had broken eyelets after just a few weeks from shots and sticks impacting the plastic lacing piece. Bauer wouldn't help me, because I was past the 90 day boot warranty. And all the pro shops told me the only thing they could do was glue it, and it probably wouldn't hold. I ended up fixing it myself with very thin layers of epoxy and a couple pieces of thin leather to hold it all together. It's worked very well so far. Still, very disappointing for an "upgrade" to the Supreme skate this year. I'll take leather and metal eyelets every time.Review by Bummed Bryan (Posted on 7/24/2016)
i love these skates so much. I was worried at first that I wouldn't like them because I have used vapor skates for as long as I've been playing. i heard that I wouldn't be able to turn as sharp in supremes so I was hesitant to buy these ones. But finally I decided to go ahead and get them and I was amazed by these skates. My first time using them was in a game I had, I didn't have a chance to use them before my game but I did get them baked. I also had a bad cold that night but I was too excited to try my skates so I decided to get out of bed. When I first stepped on the ice it felt a little awkward, I just wasn't use to having such a stiff skate and they felt slightly taller than my previous skates. During warm ups I just tried doing some power turns and skating backwards and just getting a feel for them. It didn't take long at all and I felt totally comfortable in them. By my second shift I felt like I've had these skates for years. I had no foot pain whatsoever and I was skating with almost no effort. I was able to turn just as hard as I could in my vapors as well. I love the composite insert in the tongue, you can really feel it propelling you forward when you get your full stride going. Extremely light weight, kept my legs feeling fresh throughout the whole game. I definitely recommend these skatesReview by Drew (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Fantastic skate. I agree with all the other reviews in the overall performance of this skate. These skates let me push my skating to a new level which is great and you can't ask for much more out of a skate. My previous skates were Graf G75's which are fantastic but I wanted a stiffer boot.Review by Turbo66 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
With that said I do have a few thoughts:
1. The TUUK LS Fusion steel is a gimmick to help reduce the "overall" weight of the skate. If you weigh in over 200 then you have a great chance of bending the steel, I have had a few players tell me this from personal experience and also advice from a few pro shops when getting a sharpen. I replaced the steel with LS2 runners which is fine but it added a couple of extra dollars on top of the price. There should be a weight warning for the steel or a discount on the new runners if you wish to swap it out. Before I bent them the runners felt great so hopefully there are further improvements in that field.
2. Where the tongue composite inserts connect at the base of the tongue (the button/snap lock) gives me pain on top of my foot if I lace up too tight. I suspect this is a combination of my foot shape and the lower eyelets on the boot. The pain can be reduced/removed if I lace up differently or if I swap the tongue out. Still, would be good if further thought was put into the securing mechanism on the inserts. It seems a bit odd to lower the eyelets on the boot to allow for a greater fit on your foot, but then put a big plastic snap lock in a position where the laces run across it and push down onto your foot. The inserts and the function they perform are definitely something I like about this skate though. You can feel the "spring" they talk about too. Once again, hopefully improvement can be made here in future tongue designs.
Outside of that the skates are great. There are a couple of minor cosmetic things that bug me but most skates get the odd mark or stitch come loose so no biggie there.
Reason for 4 stars is based on the above points. Really, I shouldn't have to worry about things like special lacing because of a button on a tongue or bending flimsy steel on a $800+ pair of skates.
Best Skates ever. I have used them about five times and they were already broken in by the end of my first use. The steal is amazing and the skate itself is so light. Before I had the Vapor line and I highly recommend going with Supreme line. It is a complete 360 degree fit. Highly recommend these skates. You get what you pay for.Review by South99 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Best skates ever. They fit like a glove and once you get them molded, it only takes half of an ice session before they are broken in. I have always used the Vapor line, but I highly recommend switching to the Supreme. It is a true 360 degree fit. You get what you pay for with these skates. Highly recommend them.Review by South99 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
too expensive for skates. out grow fast and hard to break inReview by jake (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I really loved the skates when I first bought them. Good fit and felt really good. I skate maybe 2 a week and only 6 months since I bought them they started to break down, started to buckle and become soft. I got told that there is nothing they can do as Bauer only have a 90 day warranty. I expected more out of the top of the linew skate. Very disappointed.Review by Chris (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Coming from APX skates, this was a HUGE difference in both comfort, and performance. Firstly, don't expect MX3s to be anywhere nearly as snug fitting as APXs. After baking mine, they felt kinda sloppy. Looser in the heel, and seemed to lose some stiffness. Comfort wise, they do feel like slippers, which I'm certain in the near future will cause problems. Not sure why they fit so tightly and perfectly prebake.. Great overall skate, lightweight, good looking, well made.Review by Pasta (Posted on 7/24/2016)
best skte i have ever usedReview by connor richard (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Although I am not as competitive as I used to be, I still hit the rink once a week. However; I usually buy a new one piece stick every year and a new pair of skates every 3-4 years and have played this amazing game for 20 years now. I know my equipment and do the research.Review by BraveFart (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Initially, I was aiming to buy the NXG's after doing some considerable research but found that they were end of life and I could not find a store that would have my size (9D). I then took a leap of faith and picked up these MX3 skates. Coming off a pair of Bauer One 100's which I was completely in love with - and still am - I have to say that I was SHOCKED at how ridiculously light they were. I mean, fall on my face light. It took some time to adjust to it. This meant that my stop to full skate acceleration took less time to reach my destination. Cornering, edges, durability has definitely exceeded my high expectations after 2 months of trying them. I'm still in the puppy love stage and there are still things that I am discovering about it as I go along.
I found that I actually needed to bake them 3 times in order to get rid of the stiffness of the boot and that the first sharpening didn't really help the edge as I realized that I needed to get them profiled because of it's high quality in craftsmanship.
As a defenceman, I have taken a couple of shots off the toe and on the booth - including the inside and it held it's own...mind you, it obviously still hurts a lot when taking a shot on your inside boot. The only complaint I do have is the inter-changeable tongue protection as it does kind of make it more bulkier and harder to tie up your laces properly.
Overall, this is the Rolls Royce of high performance skates and without a doubt, the price I paid was well worth it. If I had the money, I'd buy a second pair.
these are one of the greatest skates i couldnt wait for the 1s skates any longer so i bought these and let me tell u these are one of the greatest skates ever used for me. i skate so much faster and i have a tighter turning radius on the ice cant wait to use them againReview by ryann wong (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Didn't even have to bake them, fit was perfect. My last pair was the x60s for 2 years. There's no way these boots are as stiff as some people are commenting on. Ditch the fusion blades, they bend like crazy and pick up a pair of ls3.Review by Lalush (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Coming from wearing the Bauer apx 2 skate for 2 years, I was worried that the differant fit would be too much of a change. I was wrong, these skates feel great!!! Since I was already used to the high stiffness of a top model skate, these weren't to much of a jump to get used to. I feel a much greater, snug heel lock then I did with the apx 2's and the skate feels slightly lighter (maybe just my mind playing tricks). The fit is definently wider in the mid-foot, but the toe box and heel (in my opinion) are pretty similar to the vapor line. The eyelets allow for a great snug fit for the entire game/practice (often hard to untie just because of how snug they wrap your foot). Just like any top model skate, I do recommend baking at least once, but these are very comfortable no matter what you do.Review by Godzilla (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I would recommend switching the ls fusion steel to the ls 3 steel. Although lighter, the ls fusion only lasts for a couple dozen sharpening's(blade gets low and bottoming out becomes apparent). The ls3 last triple the amount of time and is much higher allowing for a greater turning radius.
The flexible tendon guard isn't too noticeable while skating, but does help with the "full range of motion" the supreme line is pushing for. The customizable tongue is a great addition (I personally like the middle of the road "stiff" insert) and is extremely comfortable/ no lace bite.
