What's special about the Vapor X7.0 is that it was the first time that Bauer had two true one-piece Monocomp sticks in the same family. What does it mean? No excess material through what was traditionally referred to as the joint area, means a lighter weight stick with better balance and better performance. Aside from the use of Textreme® carbon fiber, the X7.0 incorporates all of the main benefits that can be found in the higher end Vapor APX model. Instead, the X7.0 uses a 3K carbon fiber, which was traditionally known as an elite level material. One of the key features about the Vapor family of sticks is its shaft shape. The Vapor X7.0 uses the Micro Feel II shaft, which has double concave walls and rounded corners for easier stick handling and superior control. The Griptac finish on this stick just adds to these benefits with an added feeling of security while the stick is in your hands.
The Vapor X7.0 boasts true Intelli-Sense Shot Technology. What is it? It has dual flex zones to maximize your shooting performance. Low Kick Flex helps to give you a quick release on wrist and snap shots, while a secondary Higher Flex Point adds power to your slap shots and one-timers.
The Vapor X7.0 features a more structurally supported Pure Shot Blade Profile. In comparison to a traditional profile, this is an expanded throat design that adds structural support to where the shaft and blade meet and helps to minimize blade deflection in order to increase accuracy.
The core of the blade uses what Bauer calls Aero Foam II material. This allows for the blade to be stiff and lightweight, while optimizing balance and crisp feel. This also helps to give that nice snap on puck release. Meanwhile, the outer portion of the blade also features that 3K premium carbon fiber material that can be found in the shaft.
