Puck handling and quick release shots are two main areas of focus for the Vapor series of sticks from Bauer. The Intelli-Sense Flex Profile can be found throughout the line and offers dual flex zones that offer different performance benefits depending on the placement of your lower hand. The higher flex point delivers powerful slap shots and one-timers, while the lower flex point provides that quick release with accuracy and control enhancements from the Vapor Premium Dual Taper.
The X90 has a more traditional fused construction for where blade and shaft are joined. Bauer uses premium lightweight 12k woven carbon fiber in the shaft of the Vapor X90 because it is better at managing stress than 3k woven carbon fiber, which is very often found in high end composite sticks. The 12k woven carbon fiber is visible in the senior model and is the same material used in the shaft of the higher end X100. The X90 is well-balanced and lightweight but is slightly heavier than the X100 on account of its slightly higher fiberglass content . It also has the Micro Feel II shaft with rounded corners and double-concave walls which allows the shaft to fit comfortably into your hands, resulting in easier puck handling and superior control. The X90 is available with the Griptac finish.
As we transition down the shaft towards the blade, you will find the Vapor Premium Dual Taper. This type of shaft configuration allows for quick releases and decreases bending and twisting of the blade, which results in better puck control and accuracy. Blade control and accuracy are further enhanced by the Pure Shot Blade Profile, which is visible through the expanded throat.
Bauer uses a single density and less brittle AERO FOAM 3 in the core of the blade of the X90, while the wrap is made of a premium lightweight 3k woven carbon fiber.
If you're looking for a Vapor series stick that shares most of the same technology as its higher end counterpart at a fraction of the price - then the Vapor X90 stick from Bauer is definitely worth considering. Check yours out today.

I've has this stick for about a month now and I'm use to teh NXG which I broke and where I live, our Pro Shop doesn't have a great selection so this is what I settled with. Compared to the NXG, APX2, and APX this is a little heavier of a stick, but only by 3 ounces. I can feel it but it really doesn't make a difference. The stick has great pop and my shot have increased speed. Overall a great stick for the price.Review by John (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Stick was a great use to me. Had it for about 5 months. Got a lot of use out of it. It does after a long time of use begin to wear at the heel. Blade broke on me. Don't let that take away from it. Used it for awhile, wear and tear happens. Great stick!Review by A.J (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I used this stick for a total of 5 games playing inline hockey on a sport court rink. It broke when i took a really weak slap shot...I used easton Makos for years and they lasted much longer and held up to really hard shots and a lot of other abuse it would take during a game...I'm not impressed with this product from Bauer. Unfortunately the 30 day warranty had expired..Thanks Bauer for the awful product.Review by Dan (Posted on 7/24/2016)
