The CCM RBZ 50 skate was designed for the recreational player with a need for speed and a need to be mindful of their budget.
It has a generous anatomical fit profile with a standard heel. Unlike the highest end RBZ skates, the RBZ 50 has more of a traditional fit and follows the typical "1.5 sizes smaller than shoe size" rule of thumb. Skate fit, however, is ultimately a matter of personal preference.
The outer shell of the RBZ 50 uses tech mesh with a compound blend inner core. These two elements in conjunction with a relatively stiff inner layer, creates a sandwich-like construction that offers a good amount of lateral support. Comfort foam can be found in the ankle area to slightly enhance heel lock.
The tongue is made of a combination of comfort felt with an embossed PU (polyurethane) outer layer. The RBZ 50 has a low-profile injected outsole which serves as the platform for mounting the E-Blade holder with Proformance™ Stainless Steel.
For the recreational skater that isn't looking to spend a lot on skates, these RBZ 50 skates from CCM are a great option.
