Most important to the Super Tacks will come in the new boot design aptly named MonoFrame 360, a boot composed entirely as a one-piece boot frame designed to wrap around the foot for a fully anatomical heel-lock with a 360° degree fit around AND under the foot – a fit that is molded to the player’s DNA. The Super Tacks construction eliminates the need for an outsole which provides greater “foot-to-skate” contact area and an unprecedented direct force propulsion system to help generate maximum power. With the new 1-piece design, usage of asymmetrical ankle pads and incredible heat molding characteristics all around the boot, this skate essentially removes any negative or empty space to provide a 100% customizable fit tailored to the player’s specifications.
As a top of the line skate, the Super Tacks comes complete with all the bells and whistles including TotalDri Liner, first seen on the JetSpeed skates, this is a lightweight liner that wicks away moisture very quickly and works well with the large vent placed on the underside of the skate where the outsole would be found if it had one. These features work together to push any moisture out of the boot, keeping the skate even more lightweight and comfortable. Another nice little addition is a bit of grip on the flashy yellow lining to really help lock down your feet to prevent any movement on the inside. For durability purposes, abrasion patches were added to the liner where the eyelets are found along with comfort padding on the neck of the skate to give comfort and extend the longevity of the Super Tacks skate.
Moving to the tongue, CCM used their ADV Pro molded tongue which also has nice heat molding properties to enhance fit around the upper ankles. CCM removed some unnecessary materials and strategically placed padding in key areas of the tongue to keep the protection qualities high while still reducing overall weight. This will still feature a nice thick high density felt tongue that was designed to have a little give and provide ultimate comfort. An injected molded piece is used as the main component to fight off lace bite.
Mounted to the boot itself is the SpeedBlade 4.0 Holder which provides an additional four millimeters of height (when compared to the older E-Pro holder), and allows for a greater angle of attack and more aggressive turns. Complementing the SpeedBlade 4.0 Holder is CCM’s corrosion-resistant SpeedBlade Black runner. This blade also comes loaded with performance benefits as it has undergone an oxidation process that increases surface hardness which translates to holding an edge longer and reduces the likelihood that it will chip or flake. Additionally, the high quality finish provides lower friction which in turn gives you a faster glide and more speed.

I baught these skates super confotable nice skates but on ice they hurt the side of my foot so bad I couldn't walk after my games and practice now I have 1x skates and they are greatReview by Glen (Posted on 4/6/2017)
Ccm super tacks are the worst skates!!!! The reason why I say this is because the pair I bought put so much pressure and eratation on the bones below my left ankle bone I could not walk in them let alone skate. They now have become swollen. I have too go back to BauerReview by firstname.lastname@example.org (Posted on 4/3/2017)
I have worn every brand of skates ever made, and almost every high-end model. The Super Tacks exceeded my previous skates in both comfort (after baking) and agility. I'm not sure if it is because the skate doesn't have an outsole, but the agility factor is off the charts....Did I mention comfortable!!!!..Flat out the best skate on the ice.Review by Puckman (Posted on 2/15/2017)
We've bought the CCM supertacks, Ok, the price was a bit high. But a once in a lifetimebuy. 6 games and 12 trainingen, the tuck from the left skate burst completly open. Now we must wait untill CCM anwersReview by Hans (Posted on 1/5/2017)
I bought these skates about 2 months ago, and i waited a little bit to say anything about them so that i could get a really good feel for them. I love the skate!!!!! could not say enough good things about them. i was unsure of how the Super Tacks would fit, because I was originally wearing Bauer Supreme skates. But once I tried them one, even before i baked them i knew these were the skate for me. I really recommend these skate for anyone who wants a performance skate and a durable skate.Review by logans (Posted on 12/30/2016)
I have used many brands throughout my years of playing hockey. Bauer, Reebok, Nike, Mission etc. I finally pulled the trigger on the CCM Super Tacks. I must say, absolutely AMAZING. Fit like a glove, feels like a running shoe. Bake them and you forget they are even on your feet. I have big ankle bones that stick out and every time I have purchased a new skate, I would end up with blisters and bruises on my ankle bones after the first few skates. Even after baking them. These none, nada, zero whatsoever. I will never go with a different brand again. CCM nailed it on these ones. They may be pricey, but worth every penny for how comfortable and reactive they are.Review by email@example.com (Posted on 12/17/2016)
Let me first say I collect skates like my wife collect shoes and I've tried all the top end skates including Bauer mx3, Graf 9035, Graf supra, Bauer nxg. This was the first time trying a ccm skate and I was impressed. I tried the ultra tacks when they first came out and found they were too narrow so I was leery about trying on the super tacks, however when I tried them on they were perfect. Comfort wise they feel like grafs who I think make the most comfortable skate. I. Liked the new lace bite protector on the tongue. Comfortable regardless how tight you prefer your skate. After one bake the interior bed was soft and molded perfectly to my feet. Don't know if it was the "monoframe" that had something to do with it or not. The reason I couldn't wear the mx3's anymore was that I was constantly getting abrasions on my ankles where the top edge dug into them. I noticed other people complain about this problem as well. The mx3 was way lighter. However, I felt that I lost some responsiveness because it was too light. As a result it took several session getting used to the mx3s. After 30 seconds on the supertacks I was flying in them. The holders are pretty comparable to the newest generation of tuuks. Similar pitch. The runners glide well through the ice. The black color is not traditional but it looks pretty cool.Review by Doc (Posted on 10/24/2016)
Very stiff but forward flexion is excellent. Good turn radius.
My only complaint is that it was pricey. However spending hundreds of dollars on skates looking for that perfect skate I feel my search is finally over.
