The Tacks name is legendary among hockey skates. Boasting a rich history dating all the way back to 1905, we knew any new boot to bear the “Tackaberry” name would have a lot to live up to. Let us be the first to say, the CCM Tacks 4052 delivers intermediate level support, durability, and performance at a great price point!
The heart and soul of the Tacks 4052 boot is CCM’s new Internally Supported ATTACKFRAME™. Comprised of internal reinforcements in both the heel and eyelet facing, these reinforcements store and release energy as the player flexes forward; and when combined with CCM’s Formula T4 Core, the result is a responsive boot with great acceleration.
The new SpeedBlade 4.0 Holder design provides an additional four millimeters of height (when compared to the older E-Pro holder), which allows for a greater angle of attack and more aggressive turns. Complementing the SpeedBlade 4.0 Holder is CCM’s SpeedBlade Stainless steel runner, which provides a long lasting edge for long term performance. The holders are then riveted to a Vented Fiber Nylon Composite Outsole which helps increase torsional rigidity and maximize energy transfer.
CCM’s commitments to fit and comfort are easily seen in the new Tacks 4052 skate. The Contoured Fit profile provides a close fit in the heel and ankle with a medium width throughout the boot. A quick drying, heavy duty, Microfiber material lines the inside of the boot, which ensures a comfortable fit along with great durability. Add a 7mm Felt Tongue with EVA foam and you have a boot that provides lightweight performance with great fit and comfort. The package is finished with CCM’s Fit System footbed for added comfort and support.
If you’re looking to take your game to the next level, pick up the CCM Tacks 4052 today and go on the attack!

I bought these skates December 2016 and love them. Its taken a bit to break in for me at least but the more I skate on them the better they get. I owned jetspeeds prior and liked them but these are by far a better skate for me. Would recommend these over and over again.Review by Kyle (Posted on 2/2/2017)
Really nice skates, they are very very very light compared to the 709 Supras I am coming from. I had them baked and that helped a lot with the comfort. I would recommend these to any bantam-mens league player. Also, you can't beat the price!Review by Jake (Posted on 1/21/2017)

Wow they are the most confortable skates i ever had since the first time i used them i felt i was wearing some golf shoes just perfect
they have the support i need and the right technology, i used to hate tacks states till i bought these ones.
Fully agree with previous review. Those are really the most comfortable skates, what I had. Just like a pair of runn’ng shoes. Soft, comfortable, but have enough support.Review by Umm (Posted on 7/24/2016)
