U Foam: BUILT TO BE A PART OF YOUU Foam technology powers CCM skates and provides the only true custom fit on the market. U+ skates start with the player's foot and when heated take the foot's unique shape. Our competition starts out with a preset shape and forces the player's foot to fit into them. A skate that fuses to each unique foot provides instant response and a better energy transfer.
Ankle: The construction and strength of U Foam allows the skate to form to the ankle without any limitations. Unlike our competition, there are no additional ankle counters or existing shapes. The end result is an ankle shape determined by the player's unique ankle positioning and shape. Added soft foams improve step-in comfort
Heel: U Foam coupled with a new heel pocket construction, allow the heel to lock into place. When heated, this construction allows the player to create their own heel pocket to lock the heel in place. This is very different from our competition who force every heel into one preset shape
FOREFOOT: When heated the U Foam gets very soft and fuses to the player's unique foot. By fitting so close to the foot, the result is instant reaction leading to better agility and a more powerful push off. U Foam makes up for any abnormalities versus the perfect foot and cools down in the shape of the unique foot
