The RBZ™ 80 LE stick from CCM is a great way to join the growing number of RBZ™ stick users at a fraction of the cost. This stick shares a lot of the same technology as the RBZ™ Stage 2 and RBZ™ 100 models, just in a slightly heavier construction.
The RBZ™ 80 LE stick also features what CCM likes to refer to as Power Swing Technology. This has a direct correlation to what golfers refer to as swing speed and basically means optimal weight distribution in order to give you a balanced stick with a smooth and fast swing motion. Just like the RBZ™ Stage 2 and RBZ™ 100, it has a constant flex profile in the shaft which gives you a Custom Kick Point that is determined by the placement of your lower hand. Instead of the kick point being predetermined by the sticks construction for a specific type of release, the RBZ™ 80 adapts to your playing style.
For the construction of the shaft, CCM uses a combination of aerial grade carbon and a slightly higher fiberglass content than that which is found on the RBZ™ 100. The senior shaft uses a Traditional geometry with square-corners, while the intermediate, junior and youth uses a Contoured geometry with rounded corners for better fit and feel for smaller hands. The RBZ™ 80 comes with the grip finish.
There's really no visible taper to the stick because of the constant flex profile, just a nice transition of where the blade and shaft meet.
Just like the RBZ™ Stage 2 and the RBZ™ 100, the RBZ™ 80 LE has similar blade construction which makes it Freakishly Fast. It has Speedblade 2 with Freak Channels. Instead of using foam in the core, like most sticks, finely tuned channels circulate through the blade in such a way that the coefficient of restitution, or C.O.R. is increased. Basically, this is a trampoline effect of the amount of energy return at the point of impact which results in a shot with increased velocity. These are some of the same principles that power the TaylorMade® Rocketballz™, which is why you'll find the "Powered by TaylorMade®" graphic proudly displayed on the stick. The main difference between the RBZ™ 100 and this RBZ™ 80 LE is in the amount of fiberglass that is used in combination with aerial grade carbon in both the shaft and the blade wrap.
You'll find cutting edge performance and technology at a great value with the RBZ™ 80 LE stick from CCM.
