Easton has designed the Stealth RS skate to be lightweight and responsive with enhancements that provide more mobility and forward flexion. They have a generous anatomical fit profile, giving you a nice snug fit in the ankle and heel area with a little extra room for the front of your foot. The toe cap has been re-designed to have a more anatomical low-profile look and feel.
Easton uses a fused composite in the quarter panels or sides of the skates comprised of EPP, TPU and TPE. Basically, it's a combination of thermoplastics and foams that work together to optimize heat moldability and responsiveness. They really provide a generous amount of lateral support. The heel and ankle padding on the inside is a generous anatomically shaped memory foam underneath a nicely finished Bio-Dri liner. This combination is very comfortable and helps to minimize heel slippage. This design plus the fact that these respond so well to heat molding is going to get you a great form fit right out of the box and drastically reduce break in time.
The footbed is also worth mentioning, because it features Giro's SuperNaturalT fit system with adjustable arch zones. The skates come with 3 different arch zone inserts. You get great comfort from the pre-formed felt and foam tongue, which also has an injected lace bite protector. This tongue design still allows for a good amount of forward flex and mobility. It has a lightweight TexaliumT outsole which also features the Dry FlowT moisture drainage system. This type of outsole provides a nice rigid, yet responsive, platform for the boot to be mounted on which helps to reduce torque while you skate.
If you're looking for a performance skate that is responsive and offers a significant amount of lateral support, the Stealth RS is definitely worth checking out.

At the end of last season, my oldest 2 children had both outgrown their hockey skates. I wanted to get a much better skate than the mid-range Bauer skates I had been buying for them. I saw the great reviews on these skates and took a chance ordering them online because Hockeymonkey has a great sale on them. Since the season was over, I bought them a size bigger than they needed so they would be good for them at the start of this season.Review by RIHockeyDad (Posted on 7/24/2016)
My kids started using them in September and they absolutely LOVED them. They told me they didn't know skates could actually be comfortable. Their feet never get too sweaty in them and they don't even smell bad. They trust them and my daughter has told me unsolicited several times how much she loves her skates.
However this weekend, my son was playing defense, he got burned a little bit and had to make a diving play to try and stop a goal, when his skates hit the ice, the toe of the boot exploded. In the pictures attached, you can see the hole, but there are actually cracks that extend even further into the toe area where material still remains. In 37 years of being around hockey, I have never seen anything like this. Unfortunately, we are at the climax of the season. What am I supposed to do? I have to run out and buy new skates and hope he breaks them in fast. Playoffs are coming! I know I bought them in March, but they have been in use less than 4 months!
The way my kids have talked about these skates, Easton certainly had a customer for life, and I am a Dad who's used Bauer for 37 years. But now I don't know. This is very frustrating.
I contacted Easton, but they only have a 90 day warranty on the boot and refused to make it right.
This is the first time my son mentioned he liked his skates...he has been playing for 6 years so we have been through a lot of skates. already bought second pair debating on buying more for future use.Review by jake the snake-meremac shark (Posted on 7/24/2016)
i also noticed his speed increase from last pair
My son is a Sr. Pee Wee and daughter is a HS Varsity player. My son loves these skates and significantly more than all of his previous pairs of Easton, lower level skates. He's alway been a fan of Easton's, never wanted Bauer's. My daughter is same. Son loves the lower boot for mobility and the well placed padding. Like the price decrease on the top level boot, but still too expensive to consider for a Pee Wee. Sticking with RS until Top level boot becomes priced (by manufacturer) for normal, logical people buying a kid's skate.Review by Money Tree (Posted on 7/24/2016)
The comfort is second to none. That means a lot when you are practicing 4 times a week and playing 4 games every weekend. My son skated Bauer Vapors previous to these and we liked those, but once you bake these skates they fit like no other skate out there. I have read plenty of negative reviews about this skate's toes blowing out, but my son has put his RS's through hell for a year and they are still in great shape. The Hockey Monkey price reflects the best value of any skate out there. He is in a 5.5 and I have to now move into Sr. skates for him, but I am going to buy this skate in the Sr. version for summer camps and next season. I highly recommend this skate as you are getting a high end skate with all the bells and whistles for middle of the road prices. I can't say enough! (They look really cool too)Review by Buster (Posted on 7/24/2016)
