I bought one of these bags for my son for Christmas and the price was so good I picked one up for myself. This bag is great the quality seems to be there and the shelves are awesome for keeping things in order. The bottom that holds the elbow, shin, shoulder, and pants could be a bit bigger it is a tight fit to put it nicely. The best thing about this bag is I get home put the bag in the garage and open the bag and after playing about 3x per week for the last 2 months there is no foul hockey smell.Review by Nurseman74 (Posted on 1/31/2017)

the side and had 2 end pockets about 4" wide. One of the end pockets
tore off a couple months it, and the other is now off about a year in.
Before that I had an old I-tech 40"x18"x18", end & skate pockets. I don't
think bags are made to same standard as what was available years ago,
because most everybody I know who plays 1-3 times/week only seems to get
1-3 years about of a bag.
I bought this bag because I'm looking for a bag that will last, an easier
carrying bag, and I also really like the idea that the pod is well organized.
I have packed my stuff into this bag, but haven't been to a game yet.
It's a very well thought out bag, and my immediate observations are that
the available storage is more limited than my old bag(it's tight & I
will have to stuff things in) and the bag itself is heavy.
The quality is very high in comparison with most other bags, and I expect
to get 5+ years from it, assuming I don't have an unexpected zipper go bad.
I'm a big guy (6'4" & 230lbs.) so I knew I would need the larger bag for
my larger stuff. The actual dimensions of my bag are - 34" tall, 28" at the
widest point, 17" at its deepest. The helmet and skate shelves are the appropriate
size. The glove shelf is larger than my gloves, and the shin, shoulder,
and pants shelf at the bottom is tight. I don't wear shoulder pads &
if I put my pants and shins in separately, I have to jam them in. So I'm
putting the shins & elbows inside my pants just as I always have. I still
have to push because the opening is a small and my pants are longer than
the bag is wide, so it gets scrunched up inside.
An unforseen benefit of this bag is the fact that it stands upright. Not only
does this make it easier to pack, but it will have a smaller footprint in the
locker room and the car. That will definitely make using it more convenient
than the carry bags I've always had.
Two, gloved thumbs up!
