This is a great opportunity to purchase discontinued Grade A composite hockey sticks for a fraction of the price! Get brand name sticks, including Easton, Reebok, CCM, Mission, Warrior, Bauer & Sher-Wood!
Lots of fun, definitely worth it. Received warrior dt3 and nexus 8000. Would do it again and again. Thanks Monkey Sports.Review by nikolas (Posted on 4/19/2017)
Cant go wrong with this deal. Asked for 85 flex and pp88 blade and HockeyMonkey delivered both in a T120. Have had good luck with this deal three times and will def buy again.Review by GenJenk (Posted on 4/10/2017)
Recieved a nexus 8000 with the P02 blade in a 77 flex. Not a blade pattern I would have picked for myself but I wanted to try something different than I would normally buyReview by sammyonthewammy (Posted on 3/20/2017)
I received a Sherwood T120 (75 flex) as my stick. Original price was $220, on sale now for $140. I lucked out and got the curve I typically use. Next time I'm in the market for a twig I'll try this again and keep my fingers crossed!Review by TB32 (Posted on 3/7/2017)
Received an Easton Stealth CX ST. Sure the original value is the bare minimum they promise but its currently being sold for 74.99, the same price I paid to put my trust in them. Not exactly the deal its made out to be.Review by T_Strey5 (Posted on 2/24/2017)
I ordered two sticksso paid $150 plus a little for shipping. I was excited the whole time waiting and when the box arrived I freaked. I wasn't let down either.Review by BeerLeagueLegend (Posted on 2/3/2017)
Sherwood T120 Stastny 85 Flex and Easton Stealth CXST E36 75 Flex. For a beer leaguer like me these are some top of the line. I think you get more for you money if you buy two rather than just one. Hockey Monkey is full of a bunch of beauties and never disappoint.
I bought this mystery pack because I'm not too particular about my sticks. When it arrived I got an Easton Stealth CXT 100 Flex E5 pattern. Not a pattern I would typically try, but that's kind of the point of this deal. It' selling on this site for $150 and I paid $80 after shipping, so I'm thrilled. I can't wait to give it a chance.Review by Matt (Posted on 1/31/2017)
Got a CCM RBZ Stage 2 100 Flex with a very similar curve to a Kane model. If you ask them to give you a certain flex, they do their best and got it perfect in my case- I also said I want a curve similar to the kane model- and they did exactly that. Great DealReview by Yeeahboiiiiiiiii (Posted on 1/25/2017)
I purchased this being promised a stick of value of $149 or greater. I received an Easton Stealth CX ST with an original price of $120. They really tried to cheat me out of the deal. Lets see if they can make this right.Review by MAD (Posted on 12/8/2016)
First I'll tell you what I got:Review by Daniel (Posted on 11/10/2016)
-Sherwood True Touch T120 ($192.99->$139.99)
-Easton Synergy HTX ($168.99->$139.98)
I paid $150 including shipping for the two, so it's basically like getting two sticks for the price of one (and paying $10 for shipping).
Go ahead an read the one star reviews, you will see a bunch of cry babies who didn't think very hard about how this works. If you are picky about your sticks (flex, kick point, blade, brand, weight, feel, etc.) obviously DO NOT BUY a mystery stick and whine because you didn't get a signed Sidney Crosby stick that he used in Game 7 of the Cup finals. If you like particular sticks, good for you. Open your wallet up a little wider and choose the one that's just right for you.
If you are a recreational player who wants a good quality stick and doesn't give a crap about the name on the side, this is the best deal you'll find. I can assure you that if you're used to an 85 flex you can still play with a 75 or visa versa. It will not ruin your shot and after 1000 bear league games your stats will be the same! That is all I have to say here. I am very satisfied with paying $75 for a high quality carbon fibre stick and I'll be ordering two more once the next stick breaks.
Thanks HockeyMonkey, you guys are cool.
Ordered this twice hoping to get something better than an Easton Synergy and both times I got the same stick with different curves, not too excited about it.Review by Zachary (Posted on 11/7/2016)
Wow its a Deal great sticks for the Price. I recived $187.00 worht of free sticks.Review by Coach Thomps (Posted on 7/24/2016)
While you don't know what you are getting, this is the 2nd time i ordered mystery sticks, but i have been happy both times. I'm not too particular about sticks, i feel like i can be happy with 80% of the sticks that are available on the market. You get some very nice sticks for significantly less.Review by jesse (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Received an Inno Thunderdome 85 flex and a Warrior Dolomite Spyne Lidstrom 75 flex. both sticks were in excellent condition with no notable flaws as warned there may be. i use the Inno in my rollerhockey league and love it. i will definately be purchasing another pack when i need new sticks.Review by Gizmo (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I was very excited opening the package, I felt like a kid on christmas morning! I was very happy with one of the sticks and I had never even heard of the other brand but both are a good flex for me and I have a very nice shot with both. I have encouraged my friends to give it a try but the mystery proves to be to much for some. I think this is an excellent way to get into a high quality stick at a steal! If you aren't to particular about your blade or flex.Review by Buck (Posted on 7/24/2016)

I pulled a ccm u+cl tavares and a rbk 9k D14. Was worried about getting my moneys worth but i will buy this anytime i need new sticks. Its like getting a free stick! Kind of a no-brainer if you're not picky about brand, blade pattern, or flex.Review by Hail (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Turned out great for me. RBK sickick II 8k Griptonite (Spezza 85) and Nike/Bauer Supreme one85 (Staal 87). Total MSRP [$] and you pay [$]. What more can you ask for. I play 2-3 times a week and this deal is great. Worth the risk, IMO, of getting a curve/flex that doesn't work for you.Review by Depth player, tertiary scorer. (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I received a CCM U+ CL Ovechkin ([$]) and a Nike/Bauer Supreme One85 Staal ([$]). I paid [$] for both. I'm very impressed, this is an amazing deal. Thanks Honkey Monkey!!!Review by N.P. (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Rbk 8k sidekick II griptonite spezza and a warrior dolomite DD savard. Great sticks but not what I would have chosen for flex and lie. Maybe I will get use to it. also the rbk is long so I will have to cut it.Review by Danno (Posted on 7/24/2016)
What a deal. I scored a CCM Crazy Light Tavares and a Warrior Swizzle Kovalev. Both 100 flex. Couldn't be happier with the draw!Review by Deadeye (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I got completely opposite sticks! A Warrior DD Dragon with 75 Flex Savard (test this one out on offense) and a Reebok 8K 100 Flex Hamrlik (test this one on defense). [...]overall I am happy and excited to use these tonight. I hate making decisions so this was perfect for me.Review by Coach Merchant (Posted on 7/24/2016)
i pulled out a reebok 5k and a bauer supreme 55Review by nick (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Someone said it best in an earlier post...like xmas morning when they arrive. I have to admit I was more than a little anxious waiting for these sticks since i'm fairly picky about my blade patterns, but both (maybe lucky?) patterns are great. I got a CCM Vector Clear C Lecavlier 85 flex and a Bauer Supreme One85 Gagne flex 85. I figured if i got a bad curve, i would just torch it and fix it, but i didn't have to for either. I won't list the price as they'll just delete it, but let's put it this way...it is a two for one deal.Review by Former Pro (Posted on 7/24/2016)

Warrior Dolomite Spyne 2010, 100 flex
TPS R8, 70 flex
CCM U+ crazylite, 100 flex
All different types of blades and lies. Overall great value, not too sure about which ones I can actually use since I've got 70 to 100 flex and I still have to cut the sticks.
My wife and kids thought I was crazy taking the chance but I love the sticks I got -- the TPS Response R8 (Afinogenov)and the Warrior Dolomite DD (Savard).Review by Mike (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I am new to hockey so I was able to take advantage of the fact that I don't yet have a preference for curve or flex. I ended up with a Reebok 10k 75 flex and a Warrior Swizzle 100 flex. What a great deal! I basically got the Swizzle for free! Unfortunately I am having to send the 10k in to Reebok for warranty replacement as the toe was chipped after just two days on the ice.Review by Sean (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Absolutely perfect. This was a great choice for me because I'm comfortable with almost any pattern and any flex. I managed to pull a Warrior Dolomite Dragon Draper curve (85 flex) and a Reebok 10k Hamrlik curve (75 flex). Both sticks feel and shoot great. Extremely happy with this deal.Review by AK (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Ended up with a Reebok 8k Sick Kick 2 - 95 flex and a TPS Response R8SE- 100 flex. Both sticks are decent and I'd slot them into the intermediate catagory. Was hoping for at least one high end stick but in the end I still saved a couple bucks so no complaints.Review by Dave (Posted on 7/24/2016)

I received a '10 CCM U+ Crazy Light Grip Ovechkin curve 105 flex and a Warrior Dragon Dolomite Grip Kovalev curve in 75 flex! I got alot more than what I paid for.
The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because I don't think 75 flex really qualifies for a senior stick. I hope it doesn't break too easily.
But this is really a great deal and I would do it again.
fantastic deal, i got a RBK 1k and a bauer one05. get in there!!!!Review by jimbob smith (Posted on 7/24/2016)

Got a EASTON S15 100 Flex with Zetterberg curve and a TPS R6 119 Flex with a Begeron curve.
Split it with a buddy who's a Dman so he took the higher flex and has been blasting from the point with a howie with it. Great DEAL!
I received an Easton SE16 (85 flex, Zetterburg curve) and a Warrior Dolomite Dragon (75 flex, Kovalev curve) and I couldn't be happier! This is basically a buy one get one free deal, and possibly better! If you're not picky about your flex and curve, then go for it! it's a great way to try out new stick brands and blade patterns as wellReview by snapshot12 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Pulled a Reebok 8K Sickick Datsyuk 75 flex and Easton S15 Heatley 85 flex. Both the kind of sticks I use and like. Awesome deal, thanks HockeyMonkey, can't wait to get out and use them!Review by Dan The Kid (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Since I don't really have a preference for curve, lie, or flex yet i figured I'd give this a shot. At first i was apprehensive to try this but decided to try it out and man am I glad i did. I got [$] worth of sticks, the first being a Reebok 8k sidekick II with a Crosby curve and 85 flex with the sticky grip. The second stick is a Easton S15, 110 flex with a Zetterberg curve. My only complaint is that it took Hockey Monkey a week to process and ship my order but besides that everything is awesome.Review by cantskate (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I pulled out a flex 100 Warrior Swizzle grip with Kovalchuk curve and a Easton S15 flex 85 Drury curve. Honestly, non are my perfect stick since I like non-grip flex 95-100. However you can't argue on the price. I'll let my brother have the flex 85 and I'll keep the grip Warrior. I couldn't wait to open the box to see what I got, it really is quite exciting and I do recommend it if you're not too picky about your sticks. However, although quite exciting when you open the box, I'm not sure I'll buy again since I am picky about my sticks. But good bargain though.Review by ravenzoom (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I received a TPS R6 (Stiff flex, Nash) and Warrior Dolomite Spyne DD (85 flex, Savard). Overall great deal if you don't care about flex or blade pattern, both sticks great for slappers.Review by nomorjesta (Posted on 7/24/2016)
These sticks are top of the line for a bargain basement price. Value of both sticks well over what was charged.Review by Old Time Warrior (Posted on 7/24/2016)

The mystery is a bit fun wondering what you will receive and so far there has been no need to re-gift
It is an unbelievable deal. Two sticks that are both originally valued over the price your paying for BOTH sticks, amazing offer.Review by Pokey (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Purchased two of these packs one LH for myself and a RH for my girlfriend. I received a Warrior dolomite and a RBK11k sikick III (pro stock). I am over the moon. The other half received a CCMU+ Crazy light in lecavalier and a RBK8k sikick II in the gold crosby edition. Not only were we both super happy with what we received in terms of makes but the non pro stock are off the shelf new and the 11k looks like its seen half a dozen pucks at worst. GREAT BUY highly recommend this for beginners also really good chance to get a flex/blade you might not normally try and end up loving it.Review by Phoenix Fan (Posted on 7/24/2016)
great deal, so great that i bought 2 packs, on the first i pulled a warrior dolomite spyne grip savard curve and a ccm vector grip steen curve(awesome curve) and on the second one i pulled a easton s15 iginla curve and a reebok sidekick ll grip datsyuk curve. overall i am more than pleased being that all these were a pretty penny new by themselves. great pack just go ahead and buy it!!!Review by predsfan24 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I'm LH. I pulled a Warrior Dolomite dragon grip (75/savard) and an Easton S15 (100/parise). The curve on the blades were not the ones I'd hoped for, but I can't complain about the pull I got.Review by Steve (Posted on 7/24/2016)

i read all these people getting 11k's and ccm u+ and what not and i ended up with 2 run of the mill middle of the pack sticks... easton s15 like so many others and a tps r6..wich i plan to sell due to the lie... i do plan on buying this again since most of the people i play with are right handed its nice to just stock up on half decent sticks for the lefty i am.. and it did introduce me to a curve i now like "heatly" not to shabby next time i will hope for the better... on a good note both sticks i got had 100 flex on um! thank god...75 flex should not be sold as a sr stick for god sakes i weigh 225! lolReview by chris STIFF FLEXXXX fidler II (Posted on 7/24/2016)
As a College student, buying high end equipment is extremely burdensome, especially when factoring all other expenses. However, getting two extremely high end sticks for less than that of this years top of the line model is an amazing deal. In this instance you definitely get more for the price you pay.Review by Kohl (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I got two Warrior sticks with my package: The Swizzle and Dolomite DD Dragon Grip Sr. The Swizzle has the draper blade with a 85 flex and the Dolomite has the Kovalchuk blade with a 100 flexReview by Goalll (Posted on 7/24/2016)

I have the old Reebok 9K - whatever was the one with the holes in it before the 8.0.8. I was happy with that stick, so we'll see how the low tier version works out. I've never had an Easton one-piece, so I'm looking forward to trying a new major brand. I'm happy that I didn't get any obscure brands.
Great deal. i pulled a CCM U+cl 11' model 100 flex Tavares curve. And a Reebok O-stick 606 75 flex Crosby curve. Great deal and alot of fun to see what you getReview by karl (Posted on 7/24/2016)
So for [$] plus s&h I pulled an RBK 6k 75 Datsyuk curve and an Easton S15 85 flex Parise curve. RBK 6k is on sale most everywhere because of the ridiculous "power-shot" shaft feature and being pretty average all around. I have 2 RBK 5k Datsyuk curves and the 6k seems no different, expect uglier. Not a bad stick, on the heavy side...nothing special. The S15 isnt bad, a little lighter, good feel but nothing special. I wouldn't have bought either if I picked them myself. Basically I got roughly [$] worth of sticks I didnt want for [$]. So, yea its not a bad deal.... and if you get lucky hockeymonkey may through a sick stick in your bundle... or you could end up with 2 pretty ordinary sticks you didnt really want. I guess it is up to you to decide if its worth the riskReview by Philly Mike (Posted on 7/24/2016)
So I went into this pretty pumped and I wasnt sure what I was going to get. I pulled a Easton S15 Getzlaf 100 and a TPS R6 Stoll. The Getzlaf is a heel curve and the Stoll is Mid-heel at first I was not really into the idea, cause I'm more of a mid curve guy. But now I have really grown to love them. Saucer passes could not be easier, and once I got use to shooting with them I actually have grown to like their shot. The TPS is amazing and I was not expecting that at all but it makes me want to get more of their stuff. The Easton is nice but I just don't feel like I am big enough to take advantage of the 100 flex. Either way a great deal and it turned me on to new brands and curves which was one of the reasons I went for it.Review by KevinPVD (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I bought this mystery pack and received a Warrior Dolomite and a Reebok 8K. First of all, I thought this deal was a blast! I was so anxious to find out what kind of sticks I'd get and then once I got them I wanted to do nothing besides try em out. I have been using Easton's Sakic curve ever since i was 15 years old (I'm 25 now), so I figured it was time for a change. I love the new twigs, the Reebok Spezza curve makes my wristshot insanely accurate and the warrior serves up the sauce all day, so depending on my mood I have a stick for the occasion. I highly recommend this deal. I'm buying another one, even though both sticks are still in great shape!Review by The Goods (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I hadn't been so excited for years, literally like a kid at christmas.Review by Maves (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I got 2 packs. Pulled a CCM U+ octolight 85 flex, Warrior Dolomite DD 100 flex, TPS R6, Regular flex and a RBK 7k 75 flex.
Going to sell 2, probably the ccm and the rbk.
Awesome value. I want to do it again already! Great to try some brands and patterns that you wouldn't normally get to. plus it's dirt cheap
I'm very new to hockey and this pack is perfect for me, I the quality of the sticks, I got two [$] sticks for [$]. I'll probably snap the 75 flex I got in the next few months but either way, fantastic deal.Review by Dirk Limpwood (Posted on 7/24/2016)

I play junior hockey, thought I would try the mystery pack out. I pulled an S15 and a Warrior Bandito. I am pretty happy with that. I am excited to use them in practice. It's risky, you don't know what you're gonna get but that also makes it exciting.Review by j pools (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I got an old Mission Fuel Ti-Pro 100 Flex and a Warrior Dolomite Spyne 85 flex. Both have heel curves and that is not something I am use to using. So it should be an adventure. But given the age of the Mission stick, they sure are digging now it seems.Review by MtnMan1975 (Posted on 7/24/2016)

One stick alone is worth the price!
And super exciting waiting for your suprise.
Good deal on composite sticks as they tend to be expensive compared to the wood sticks I have used the majority of my life. Each stick was a different lye/lie and curve but enjoy using each one as at 45 still trying to improve my game play. I recommend this dealReview by sweep (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I pulled an Easton s15 100 flex with a Sakic/Hall curve and a Reebok 8K Sickick II 75 flex Datsyuk curve. These are two great sticks. Don't let the current clearance prices on these sticks fool you, this is a fantastic value. They are both top of the line sticks. I used my s15 when I played on defense for the first few weeks of our season and it was perfect. The flex was perfect for taking slappers from the blue line and was a good length for a defenseman. My breakout passes had never been as accurate and as crisp as they are with this stick. Plus the control and puck feel is better than any other stick I've used. I've yet to use the 8k in game action but I've used it in warm ups and practice and it gives you a good release and an accurate shot. Probably best used as a forward. I'm playing LW tonight so I might use it here or there and see how I like it. But both of these are high quality, durable sticks as far as I can tell. Furthermore it turns out I like these curves better than the one I thought I preferred. So if you're looking for a fresh look for you sticks or just don't have a particular preference/brand loyalty and need some new twigs. This deal is the way to go.Review by Alex B. (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Pulled a Stealth S15 Zetterberg 110 and a Warrior Bandito Draper 100. Definitely worth the money but if your picky about curves or you have one specific flex that you only use then i wouldn't recommend this deal. Otherwise well worth it to grab two decent sticks and save some cash.Review by Paddy Mac (Posted on 7/24/2016)

I got an Easton s15 100 flex Getzlaf and a Warrior AK 85 flex Savard very happy with the pull. I like the warrior curve better than the Easton, but both are nice sticks for the price. Would definitely buy a pack again. Worth the anticipation.Review by The Nuge (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I read the other reviews and was skeptical and intrigued, intrigue won out and I went for it. I ended up with a Warrior AK 100 Flex Savard. It is very nearly identical to the Iginla curve of the Easton line which is what I use most, so I call that a win. Especially when the AK seems to be about a $100 stick on clearance(orig. price $180). The second stick was an Easton Stealth S15 85 Flex Getzlaf. This is a square toe curve which flies away (or opens) at the toe pretty dramatically. Not my fave curve but I decided to cut it down and go for it. Long and short is I like it and since it too is about $110 on clearance(orig. price [$]), I am very happy with it as my backup. They are both mid-line composites, in my opinion, both give a good feel for the puck and responsive passing and shooting. Similar weight, though I would say the AK feels a tad heavier without reading the specs. Probably due to the added stiffness. If you are okay with gambling on your curve, I think this is a great deal.Review by Apton77 (Posted on 7/24/2016)

I was nervous at first about ordering it but at the price couldnt resist to see what I could get. Pulled a warrior bandito draper curve and a reebok 8.0.8 hamrlik curve. The total value of these sticks is quite greater than what was paid for the package. Definitely would do again.Review by John (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I bought the mystery pack when my $120 Reebok 10K broke after five months of use. After shipping, this deal was about [$]. I ended up getting a AK stick with a funky Kovalev curve and a TPS stick with Afingenov curve on it. They are nothing special, honestly I pretty much paid whatever they sell the sticks for in this mystery package. For the $20 I saved, I might as well buy whatever I want instead of two sticks that doesn't seem to be great. The TPS stick does seem better than the old Easton I have been using, but the Kovalev stick has the funky curve and it is pretty heavyReview by Tom (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Pulled a Warrior AK 85 flex w/ a Savard curve and a Easton S15 100 flex w/ a Iginla curve. Combined they retail for about $380 so anyone who thinks this isn't a good deal is stupid.Review by Adam (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I got an Easton s15 iginla 85 flex and Reebok 7k V. hedman sickkick 100 flex...overall, pretty happy.Review by TL (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I ordered a mystery pack for myself as a holiday present. After reading the reviews I felt I wanted to give it a shot. Im in a few leagues and can always use a new stick. I received an Easton grippy s15 110 with the heatley curve, and the warrior dolomite with the 100 draper curve. Due to my position, shooting preference, and body type I asked for a stiffer flex and HM did not disappoint. I am very pleased with this purchase and would absolutely do it again, Rented the rink tomorrow for some practice with my new toys.Review by Donny (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I never thought i would get the sticks i got. I used to think these sticks werent so great, but theyre actually pretty good!I received a warior AK, and a TPS Response R6. the warior being a 100 flex (dont like the flex) with a savard curve. the tps has an afinegenov curve and an 80 flex. i saved about 50 bucks so i like itReview by JD (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I gotta say, I was a little skeptical at first, but I'm really pleased with what I got (Warrior Dolomite 100 flex and TPS R6 100 flex - see pics) Both stiff and super light. I hate square toes, so I made a request for no square toes and HM hooked me up! It's really exciting wondering what you're gonna get, too! I will definitely do this again!Review by Hermanator1023 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
not bad ehReview by Horsefly (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Just received these in the mail and pulled out a TPS R6 and an Easton Synergy ST. Unbelievably happy with this purchase. These sticks are top of the line and for the price you pay, its nearly a steal! I hope that HockeyMonkey continues to keep this deal because I am DEFINITELY coming back. PS, Do NOT let the price fool you...I have had buddies do this and loved what they received. But then again, so does everyone else it seemsReview by Anthony (Posted on 7/24/2016)
i got the Warrior AK 100 flex and the Easton Stealth 110 flex. this is the greatest deal i have ever done. I play hockey about 3-4 times a week for about three hours each time. the sticks hold up great and im looking forward to do it again.Review by Lucas10 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Got a Warrior dolomite DD `11 75 flex savard curve and Reebok 6.0.6 75 flex hamerlik curve. both curves are almost identical but its a curve i like so i don`t mind at all. the only downside is that it took about 2 and a half weeks to receive it after it was shipped. Besdie that i am very happyReview by BigOh87 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
second time buying this deal, pulled an easton s15 110flex and a warrior dolimite 100flex. i asked for stiffer flexs and hockey monkey hooked me up. just to buy these sticks off the [@] would have cost me [$] with shipping. its like christmas when you open the package which is kinda cool to. in short pull the trigger if your on the fench on this deal, you wont be dissapointed.Review by cash (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Good Deal! Received a Warrior Dolomite DD '11 with the Kovalev curve 110 flex and a Reebok 6.0.6 100 flex with Crosby curve. Asked for stiffer flexes since im a big guy, HM did not disapointed.Review by POD (Posted on 7/24/2016)
it was a good way to try some different sticks i got a dolomite dd kovalev 85 flex. and a Reebok O-Stick 6.0.6 Grip datsyuk 75 flexReview by danimal (Posted on 7/24/2016)
AWESOME. I got a worrior AK and an Easton ST. I suggested for a stiffer stick and Hockey monkey hooked me up. the easton is a 110 and the warrior is a 100. I love hockey monkey. this deal saved me $250Review by 12Johnny12 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I pulled an easton ST cammalleri 85 FLEX 2010, and a warrior dolomite DD grip kovalchuk 75 flex 2011. Overall I am pleased with the purchase...with tax and shipping included I paid around $179...if I were to buy the sticks right now on hockeymonkey seperatly it would cost me about $239 for the two of them(not including taxes, or shipping)...although I could not find the ST on the hockeymonkey website anymore. I saved some money and I got what I wanted. A backup stick for rink use, and a beater stick for my backyard...or a loaner. I will most likely buy the sticks of my choice after these ones pass on. It was fun waiting and wondering what you will be getting tho. Overall this is a good deal if your on a budget.Review by Bay Area Dave (Posted on 7/24/2016)
They grabbed a Reebok 10k prostock and a Easton s15 stealth for me. Good sticks for about $50 under what I would have paid ordering them separate.Review by Duder (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Great value. Asked for a 75 flex and a 85 flex and they followed through. Got a Draper curve Dolomite DD grip '11 and a Heatley curve non grip Easton S15.Review by Supernintendo Chalmers (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Not my first mystery pack, won't be my last.
Very happy with this purchase. I'm not entirely particular about patterns and such so this was perfect for me. Got two excellent, durable sticks and saved a lot of money. I play in a competitive roller hockey league and would recommend this to any serious player.Review by Mike (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Hands down the best deal out there... got 100 flex Warrior AK and a 110 flex Reebok 10K Sick kick II.Review by Jeremy (Posted on 7/24/2016)
i havent played in a while and i needed a new stick for a summer league im doing. i dont have any stick or blade preference so i thought this was perfect. i got the warrior dolomite dd gionta and reebok 6.0.6 hamrlik. both 75 flex. i am very excited to try out these sticks. i would recommend this to someone who doesnt need a certain stick or curve. or if your looking to try a new stick. great dealReview by vincent (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Received the Warrior AK 85 Draper and a Reebok 8.0.8 75 Datsyuk. $50 price difference if I would order seperately. Can't complain though, AK gives me one hell of a shot. Might order again in the future.Review by GPTHuskies (Posted on 7/24/2016)
i got a reebok 10k sickick II and a warrior bandito, these are 2 great sticks and i am happy with what i got. I saved a lot of money by getting the mystery packReview by mark (Posted on 7/24/2016)
This is an AMAZING DEAL! I got what I asked for which was a stiffer flex and no square toe. I ended up getting a Reebok 10K grip pro stock and a Warrior AK both 100 flex. I couldn't have asked for better sticks! Thanks Hockey Monkey!!Review by BT HOCKEY (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I received a warrior dolomite dd with 85flex and savard curve and a reebok 7k sickick griptonite in a 100flex with a hedman curve.Review by Zach (Posted on 7/24/2016)
It was well worth the risk even though you don't know what you're going to get.Review by Slash110 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
just under a week and a half later my sticks finally arrive here to edmonton AB. First stick i received was a ccm Crazy Light prostock 95 flex with DH-14 curve pattern. What I like about the stick is how amazing it feels. Great snap to it but when receiving a hard pass it doesn't just spaghetti on you. The weight of the stick isnt anything crazy, its about equal in weight to my previous RBK AI-7 stick i had. The only downside i could say to this stick is its blade is a lot skinnier then an average blade, im not sure if its construction flaw or what but its about 1/5 of an inch skinnier when i compare it to other blades. The other stick I pulled was an warrior AK 85 flex with a kovalev curve. Another great feel to this stick, its really whippy which is great for a player my size cause after i cut it down it probably went closer to a 90 flex. great feel, great weight distribution all in all great stick. Super happy with the mystery deal but if Im sure it could have gone the other way just as easy. Way to be HM you guys definitely hit a home run with this guy :)Review by bluecheeze (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Never buying a mystery pack before, I didn't know what to expect. I thought for [$] I'll get 2 sticks that probably retail for about 60 to 75 each. I was wrong. I got a Reebok SK-11 and a Warrior stick, both sticks together equal over 350 bucks retail. Obviously, I was happy, but price isn't everything..I had to try them out.Well, the sticks passed that test with flying colors also. This is a great deal for anyone who is just looking for a new buy. Highly Recommend!!!!!1Review by Moose (Posted on 7/24/2016)
This is the second time I ordered the mystery pack, and it won't be the last! I play twice a week in mens leagues and this is a great deal! I got a Warrior AK Grip 85 Flex and Reebok 10k Grip 110 Flex! Value of these sticks is over $200. And they did not send me anything less than 85 flex, which I requested. Thanks Again!!Review by Jrod (Posted on 7/24/2016)
The sticks are awesome. I got a 7K and an EQ50 with Datsyuk/Hall blades. Neither of them were pro stock. Both are amazing sticks, I highly recommend this deal, unless you're buying with a team.Review by Boyler (Posted on 7/24/2016)
As many people mentioned before, this is a great deal if you don't have your mind set on a specific brand/curve. Great sticks for an excellent price. I got a Reebok Sickick III and an Easton Synergy ST. Love them both. Would buy again.Review by Sonia (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Ordered the mystery pack a few weeks back and got a Reebok 10k pro stock 85 flex with a sk-11 curve and a Warrior AK 100 flex with a kovalev curve. These two sticks retail well over $300 so Id say this is definitely one of the best deals you can get.Review by Nickkk (Posted on 7/24/2016)
If you happen to get a pro stock stick by chance as i did then you are not covered under warranty. I used my reebok 10k pro stock stick which they chose to send me and then after one period of playing the stick literally blew up in my hands....and the shaft not the blade. they told me because it was pro stock there was no returns and of course thats the one that broke.....how convenientReview by breny (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Excellent idea. You get one great stick and one good stick. What more do you want for the money?? Great if you are not fussy about sticks :)Review by Syrilion (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I've now bought two of these and will continue to do so in the future.
Sceptical, but in two days I received a Warrior Dolomite DD 100 flex and a CCM U+ 85 with flatter lies as I requested. Dynamite! Tried the CCM last night and scored 2 goals with ease. Nice deal, don't miss it.Review by Snoopy's home ice (Posted on 7/24/2016)
This was as sick deal for sure. i scored a Dolomoite DD Gionta and Easton S15 Heatley (even though he is a lazy player) curve. These were well over what I expected! It's like Bits and Bites, everytime a different combo and always good!!Review by "D" Fence (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Got a Warrior Dolomite with a Draper curve 100 Flex, and a Reebok 10k 110 flex. Awesome sticks.Review by Jay (Posted on 7/24/2016)
this is straight up awesome!!!! it was christmas morning when i got these sticks. i got the ccm u+ CL , this stick is great it is very light weight and i love it for when i am pushing down the rink. i also got the warrior ak 100 flex and this is my go too stick for everything i am so stoked that i got these great sticks. defently do this deal you cant beat it!!!!Review by rhino sniper (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Got a warrior diablo 85/savard and a pro stock reebok 8.0.8. Not extremely pumped about the Reebok but still a good deal for 150. The pro stock curve isnt crazy, good stuff!Review by joe dirt (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I just got a Reebok 8.0.8 and a Warrior Diablo (total valued at $160). I'm not too picky about my sticks which is why I went with this deal and also because I couldn't make up my mind on choosing a stick. I've never had a Warrior or a Reebok stick so it's going to be fun experimenting with them (which is probably the only thing I like about the Mystery Pack - it forced me to get a stick which I wouldn't purchase on my own). I don't know if I would recommend this deal to anyone who is real picky about their sticks but if you're looking for something new and don't mind the risk, go for it; you'll end up saving $50 or so... I'm not sure if I would do this deal again... it depends on how these sticks hold up on the ice tonight... =DReview by Jaypleezme (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Ordering this I really was'nt sure what to expect. I ended up getting a Warrior Dolomite 75 flex with a Kovalev curve and a Easton Synergy ST Grip 85 flex with a Chara curve. As a mens league players I'm not very picky about my sticks and am happy with what i recieved. Would do it again.Review by NKim (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Received one warrior diablo and one Easton EQ50 (requested an aggressive curve and either by luck or someone paying attention, my wish was granted) Thanks Hockey Monkey!Review by mitch1188 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
When i opened the package i was very excited to see what i had got. I found i had gotten a ccm u+ PRO STOCK crazy light, and also a warrior diablo grip. These both are amazing sticks. I do not what so ever regret buying this pack.Review by Ampted6 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I was sooo stoked to final get my hands on a couple of new sticks. Being new to the sport i am not picky and i was interested in trying different curves/flexes. I pulled a CCM U+ CL prostock with the h-15 curve and 85 flex, and i pulled a warrior diablo grip 100 flex with a savard curve. Im really excited to take them to the next stick and puck session to try em out! Really good deal and got to my house in 5 days! Thank you hockeymonkey! Definitely coming back!!!Review by Eric M (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Been looking at this for a while and finally decided to give it a shot. I ended up with a a Pro Stock CCM CL grip and a Warrior Dolomite DD. Both curves that Hockeymonkey sent are something I would order, however I ended up with a 75 flex which is to soft for me. They are both great sticks however and would prefer a flex option (send a random curve, flex is pretty important). I would buy again and specify what flex range I prefer to see if I have different results.Review by Dave (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Well I originally wanted sticks that were very flexible and maybe possibly a Kovalchuk curve, simply cause I can shelf some wicked wristers. I added in the comments something about Kovalchuk and really low flex, and I received a Warrior Dolomite 75 flex (Kovalchuk) and a CCM U+ Pro (Klasen) 85 flex!! Both amazing sticks after taking them on the practice pad. Love the flex! I can really feel the stick bend!! Couldn't be happier!Review by aka : "Datsyuk" (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I got warrior diablo, and a pro stock ccm crazy light.Review by Blooooom (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I got Reebok 10K with very ridicules blade pattern and I am not sure if i could buy it at all and Easton 75s which I am happy with. Overall one stick which is more or less good. Not exactly what i expected for this price.Review by Hunter (Posted on 7/24/2016)
This product previously had many good reviews which prompted me to buy it,I was disappointed to see on the order two inferior sticks. A warrior pro stock gold spine and a Reebok 9k sickick. Both of these sticks combined would have been cheaper than the package when shipping is added. Since it hasn't shipped yet I tried going through customer service and they were of no helpReview by Chris (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I received both sticks at the correct flex and blades I requested. Ended up with a ccm crazy strong and a warrior diablo. Two sticks i'll never get tired of. LETS GO PENS.Review by Marky Mark (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Great value got two great sticks (TPS Response R6 and Easton ST)and have been using them over a year now. The TPS is the best stick I have ever owned.Review by none (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I liked this product i received a ccm crazy light and a bauer one 95. for the price it was great but i broke both of them within 3 weeks of getting them but i also play major midget hockey and that is the highest that you can play for my age.Review by The Magican (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I received a Reebok 9K SKIII L5 Crosby 75 flex (a little short for me, and I'm 6'1") as well as a Warrior Diablo Kovalchuck L5 75 flex (perfect height). Both sticks are great, but for this price, they are incredible! I took the advice of other reviewers, and mentioned in the order comments my height, as well as a range of preferred flex (I asked for 75-85, got two 75). Will recommend, as well as buy again!Review by Itszackwithak (Posted on 7/24/2016)
The one positive is that the shipping to Canada was quick and painless. After reading many positive reviews I decided to go in, I ended up with a CCM CS 2011 (a real TREAT!) and a pro stock dolomite spyne that has a wack curve. (I just broke a Warrior widow in 3 icetimes so wasn't too stoked seeing a weaker downgrade..) Neither of the sticks i would consider top quality and both I can get at the local proshop for 10$ cheaper then ordering online turned out to be.Review by NotDown (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Got a warrior diablo and a reebok 11k all in all, love the curve. in the comments section i wrote stiff please and they listenedReview by CoLLiN (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Got a reebok 9k and warrior diablo clear. Saved 70 from price at the time of delivery. Asked for a specific curve in comments box at checkout and got just what i asked for. Appreciate that very much.Review by o_it_burnz (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I asked for 85-90 flex and thats exactly what i got. I also gave comments on easton and ccm sticks. I pulled out a pro stock ccm u+ cl h-15 curve 90 flex and a easton 85s 1 with a cammalleri curve 85 flex. I was Its about $290ish value. The onlt problem is that the 85s is known to break easily which it did just like everyone else's, but i was using it for dek hockey at the time. Id buy it again for sureReview by Zane (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Got a Sherwood T90, and Bauer Vapor x4.0 Saved $40 maybe...but not that excited about these sticks...based on what I have read. Yet to try them. Was hoping for better sticks.Review by TunaCommy (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Broke my S13 that I had for a couple of seasons last week. I saw in the comments that if you ask for certain things, they seemed to try to hook you up. That convinced me to go for it. I asked for a certain lie, flex and grip coating, didn't care about the curve too much, I like to try different ones. They took care of me and sent a U+ Crazy strong and a pro stock 11k sickick 3, both with the lie I asked for, which is the most important thing in my opinion. I didn't get a covert of V series stick, but I didn't expect to. I'm a decent mens league player. I never played at a level above high school, so its a good step up in technology for me and you can't beat the price. If you are really picky about your sticks, I wouldn't do this deal. But if you're okay with giving them some guidelines and trying new things, you can't beat this. I will absolutely do it again.Review by Harry (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Pulled out an Easton Stealth 85s grip 100 flex cammellari and a Warrior Diablo non grip 100 flex Savard. Both sticks felt great. Heard the negativity about the 85s so i used it first just to check it out. Ofcourse it broke after the first use. Contacted easton and they are sending me a MAKO II so im pretty pumped to check it out. Havent tried the warior yet but it feels great in the hands. All in all, customer service from Hockeymonkey and easton were both great. Definatly gonna give this a shot the next time i need a couple twigs.Review by Bowser a.k.a. Masterson a.k.a. Shieldson (Posted on 7/24/2016)
So I got a warrior widow and an Easton 85s. I used the sticks in one practice. I liked the flexes and curves of both of them. When I used them in a practice they were great. The next day I used them in a game. The Easton 85s broke on my first shift just from a slap shot. As a backup I used the warrior widow and that went well. In the third period the widow broke from a sauce pass. Both of the sticks broke at the same spot( in the middle of the shaft).Review by John Greenburg (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Great Price. Received Reebok Ai9 Fedotenko - 85 Flex and Warrior Kovalchuk stick. These sticks have been excellent. Haven't been able to try out the Warrior stick just yet, but I have heard they are super durable and it has built in grip.Review by AVALANCHE89 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I received the Warrior Diablo with a draper curve and a CCM crazy strong with a Tavares curve. Both of them were great sticks but the Diablo was amazing . The 85 flex gave it a great shot and it sent the pucks flying. Overall a great deal.Review by DangleMaster69 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
The only thing really needing reviewed for the mystery pack is the value. I was expecting to get 2 mid range sticks. I was way off. I received 2 high end sticks whose value far exceeded what I paid. I received an Easton Stealth RS and a Warrior Diablo. HM really impressed me with the mystery pack. I'll never order sticks any other way again. Thanks HM.Review by J-Roc (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I read the reviews about requesting a certain type of flex/blade pattern and received exactly what I wanted. Received a Reebok 20K sick kick pro stock grip and a ccm crazy strong brent burns sq toe grip. Both 100 flex. Cant wait to try them out, shooting around the basement has been pretty fun. Thanks for the twigs guys.Review by Big D in the D (Posted on 7/24/2016)
My mystery pack is sick. I received an Easton Mako II and a Warrior Diablo. Both with perfect flex, lie, and blade pattern. My pack arrived very quickly and both sticks were in excellent (like new) condition. I couldn't be happier with the sticks i pulled. Buy This Deal! Do not wait!! Thank you Freddie D for picking two sick sticks for me and thanks HM! I will most definitely buy the mystery pack again.Review by Tweezy (Posted on 7/24/2016)
After reading the comments, I requested what I was looking for and got everything I wanted except stiff flex. Blades and brand are exactly what I was looking for. I don't play as much as I used to, so I can live with the 85 flex for the price/value of what you get. If you're not super picky about what you get, its hard to beat this deal.Review by biggs14 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
requested stiff flex and also said i waned to try out a warrior stick, i received a diablo lidstrom stiff, and an easton mako II parise, only issue i had was the mako was short not a huge problem just gonna have to buy a plug. great deal havent tried them out yet but the quality for the price cant be beat, definitely try this again next time im in need.Review by josh (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Got a mako2 and Diablo. I was watching the window all day waiting for these sticks. As I look at it unless you have played with all the different options how do you know you like. Got two different sticks and love em absolute no brainer definitely doing again hm place two more tall rndms aside for meReview by J the rookie (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I was Skeptical at first! But when they came in..WOW! if you aren't to particular about curve or lie, THIS IS THE BEST BANG FOR BUCK EVER!Review by Izzyy (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Got both the flexes i requested, i also requested a load of curves Kopitar/Sakic/Backstrom/etcc... they sent a Kopitar Warrior Covert(love it!!)and Parise MAKO II PRO Stock(not my type of stick but ill eventually sell it)!! wouldn't buy sticks anywhere else.
New to hockey and have not used either stick in anger yet but would like to say I'm very happy with the two sticks I recieved. I asked for a CCM and a Warrior stick in a beginner friendly curve and flex.Review by Wooddick (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I got a Warrior Diablo and a CCM Pro stock both 100 flex. They look the goods, that's about as much as I know about them for now.
I happened to break 2 sticks in a game a couple weeks ago and was looking for a quick replacement that wasn't going to break the bank. I found this deal and of course was a bit skeptical. After reading other reviews I thought I would give it a shot. I put in my comments that I would like a grip shaft, 85 or lighter flex and preferably 1 warrior stick. Hockey Monkey listened and sent me a Warrior Diablo 75 Flex Grip, and a pro stock Easton Mako 2 85 Flex Grip. 2 Excellent sticks retailing for $540 and on clearance for $245, what a great deal! As long as you are a little flexible to brands etc this is a no brainer, be specific as to what you prefer and they will do their best to give you what you want, Thanks Hockey Monkey! Also shipping was fast, only 4 business days.Review by One Very Pleased Hockey Player (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I have bought this package before and have not been disapointed yet. They offten pass out pro stock, and I'm always glad with the pattern I get. Usualy the patterns are not ones I would buy, but they end up working much better than I could imagian. And, a big plus is the waiting for Christmas feeling when I order. I never know what I'll get and cant wait to see what they gift on me.Review by Desert Hacker (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Received a SherWood Nexon N10 Grip and a Pro Stock CCM U+ CL, both in similar flex and lie. Love how they attempted to give matching stick patterns for the most part, and both sticks together would have been well over the package price. Love this and would order again!Review by 4th Line Banger (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Normally pretty picky with sticks, but Juan S. & the rest of the HM staff hooked it up! Got 2 great sticks in the exact curve and flex I requested - 85 flex hall/backstrom etc. curves. Got a pro stick Reebok 11K & an Alkali CA9 (which I specifically requested). Just be sure to leave a description of what you want & they will accomodate you nicely - would definitely recommend.Review by College kid (Posted on 7/24/2016)
When I ordered I requested medium flex in my comments and HockeyMonkey was able to deliver. I received and Easton Mako Pro Stock (deep mid-heel curve) and a Warrior Diablo Savard (shallow mid-curve). I'm quite happy with both of them, they're very different from one another. I use the Mako as my primary and the Warrior as a backup however the Warrior has the best slapshot of any stick I have every tried. I'd do this again for sure!Review by Broonsguy (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Asked for 75-85 flex and a blade good for wrist shots and one for slap shots. Wasn't disappointed got a Easton pro mako 2 grip 76 flex Subban and this stick can do it all great stick. Also got a Warrior Diablo grip 85 flex savard and first shot I went bar down and next one top left pocket. Curve on this one isn't to great for slappers, but I was very pleased. Buy this you won't regret it.Review by Johny the Sniper (Posted on 7/24/2016)
This by far is one of the greatest deals I have ever seen. As most hockey players realize, getting a new stick is such an awesome feeling, however when you spend over $200 to have your stick break due to the nature of the game it makes you question whether the higher end sticks are actually worth the money. Hockey Monkey did not disappoint me with this deal, I have recieved an Easton Mako II Pro Stock Stick and a Warrior HK Widow stick. Both sticks on clearance are $140 each, it would cost $280 to get them. If I wanted the sticks off clearance it would be over $500 bucks, and yet I recieved both sticks for a total of $165 with shipping. This is a fantastic deal, I highly suggest that anyone who is looking for a great deal on sticks takes the chance and goes with the Senior Mystery Pack. You can also specify your height, the flex you prefer, and lie of the stick.Review by Billy A (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Requested a 75 flex with as close to an Iginla curve as possible, but stated I was excited to try brands I had yet to experience.Review by Captain America (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Received a Warrior Widow 85 flex with a Kovulchuk curve and a Reebok Ai9 Pro Stock with an M-16 curve.
Paid $150. Sticks combined currently selling for $250. Saved $100 and couldn't be happier with both sticks. Close enough to what I requested but different enough to try things I had yet to try.
So, I just received my sticks today, 6.4.2014, and I am excited.Review by Greg J. (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I was a little too specific probably in my comments for what I wanted, but Hockey Monkey did not disappoint regardless. They did honor the flex I requested and I do believe they chose my sticks with my comments in mind.
I received a Warrior Widow - 85 Flex - Gionta Curve. The stick feels fantastic, cannot wait to get on the ice with it. The curve is interesting, but it is a lie 4, which I prefer. I cannot wait to get on the ice with this stick.
The other stick I received is a CCM Pro Stock U+ Crazy Light H-17 Blade Pattern. Not sure what to make of this one. It seems bottom heavy, but the blade pattern isn't as crazy as the picture looks online. Mixed reviews from other people on this stick, but I'll give it a shot and see what happens.
This is a great deal. Give general suggestions and see what happens. Hockey Monkey is a great company and that's a reason why this mystery pack still works and gets good reviews.
I have to say, I am seriously surprised and delighted! I told HM my height, weight, position and requested a stick for playing D and and one for shooting. I got a Reebok 11K Sick kick pro stock with a Herrington blade and the perfect lie and I got a Warrior Widow with a Vanek curve. I was skeptical about them since I haven't heard much about the Herrington blade and I haven't heard much good at all about the Warrior, but after playing and using both I can honestly say that HM nailed them f ' ers on the head. I will definitely be buying this again. If you are new and aren't quite sure what you want or what works for you, do this and use what you get as a starting point to refine what you need/like as a player.Review by ThatBruinsDude (Posted on 7/24/2016)
As most comments noted, you can tell they are trying hard to accommodate your preferences. My main criteria were no funky curves (like the "Crazy Ovi"), lie 5+, flex 85, and then added a few other comments (don't care about grip).Review by Dave (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I ended up with:
- Warrior Widow, Kovalchuk pattern (closed-face, 9/16" curve toward toe), lie 4 (equates to a 5 in other brands), 85 flex.
- Reebok HK Pro 11K. Pro-stock Rakhshani (open face, larger blade that widens towards the toe, mid curve at the heel, seems to be about a 5.5 or 6 lie), mid-flex.
When I got the shipping confirmation I almost flipped out (bad) because I had forgotten the Warrior lie is -1 from other brands. I was thinking: "What?? One stick with a "4" lie and another with a pattern from a guy that's 6 inches shorter than me (thinking another 4-ish lie)? How am I going to use EITHER of these?!?"
After I calmed myself down and found more info, (and waited until they actually arrived), I was OK. They're both high-grade sticks at a fraction of what you'd have to pay normally. The Rakhshani pattern is quirky -- the combo of heel curve, bigger blade and open face exaggerates each. Technically it's within the paramaters of what I asked Hockey Monkey for so no problem, but it may be a bit too funky for me to use much. I'll keep playing around with it when I'm coaching kids and whatnot, but I'll probably just keep it as a backup.
On the flip side, the Warrior is similar to what I've been using so it felt right in my hands from first use. I'd pay the $150 for this stick alone.
Each stick is a higher (or even much higher) grade than what you'd be able to get picking and choosing at the same price. And that's really what you're looking for here.
It's classic risk-reward. I'm on the fence with going this route again for myself. But like others have said, if you're looking to try new setups or don't care, it's a total steal at this price. Good luck!
First off this is a great way to try something you might not normally try. You do save some money but read the print, I got a CCM RBZ that is on clearence, and a AKALI CA9 RPD that is on clearance. Together they both could be had for about $70 more then what I paid using this deal.Review by Old Fart (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Although that gap is a little less now I believe as they are now running a 30% off clearance items sale.
So I probably in truth saved maybe $50 doing this.
The good, the sticks I got. The Akali, I never would have bought one sight unseen, no one around here carries them. It's a tank of a stick, but still has very good feel. The CCM RBZ, same deal, the last CCM stick I used was a long time ago (a Catapult I believe) and I really didn't care for it. This CCM stick is incredible. Super light, the flex is perfect for me and snap shots explode off of this. It's also fantastic for passing as well.
I specified a brand that I like 85 flex in, so I was a bit dismayed when the CCM came in a 100flex, but really Hockey monkey guys know what they are doing, it's perfect.
So overall, good to do if you want to mix it up, the staff does a pretty good job giving you something that works for you.
If you look really close though and shop around you are not going to save a ton of money doing this (at least I didn't)
I heard about this from a friend of mine and decided to take the chance. Being off the ice for nearly a decade, I haven't had a chance to play with many of these one-piece sticks (I owned the first round of easton synergy sticks if that puts it in prospective)Review by Anthony (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I tried to be flexible with my criteria, (mid-curve, 85 flex) so they had a lot to work with. I have to say, this purchase did not disappoint!
I ended up with a pro stock easton and a warrior dt3, both of which clearance for about $100 more than the price of the mystery deal. I was elated! These sticks are so precise and so lightweight, simply amazing!
I certainly intend to do this again, just for fun really!
When purchasing hockey gear I always patronize my local hockey shop. But I didn't find any great deals on sticks there and the two Reebok Graphite OPS I have now are just plain tuckered out and wearing significantly at the toe of the blade Ð not to mention they're kinda heavy. So I started shopping for sticks here on Hockey Monkey and after a few minutes my head was spinning from all the choices. Then the Mystery Packs caught my attention Ð get a good deal and let someone pick the sticks for you!Review by KR Proton (Posted on 7/24/2016)
The customer reviews I read were unanimously positive, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I purchased both a Senior Mystery Pack and a Senior Bargain Mystery pack. Don't forget to enter your preferences (such as position, skill level, your height and weight, preferred stick flex, etc.) in the "Comments" box when finalizing your order. This should take some of the randomness out of the selection so you can get a better match. I forgot to do this, but emailed Hockey Monkey separately and they forwarded my note to the people who picked the order.
My four sticks arrived promptly in a tall, rugged cardboard box. The bargain sticks I received are an Eagle Talon 50 Senior 85 flex and a Warrior Pro Dragon "Dolomite". The Warrior has a wicked toe curve that should be fun! Last I checked the sticks were $59.99 and $69.99 respectively ($130.00 together). The bargain pack lists for $79.99 for a savings of about $50.00.
The regular Mystery Pack with the higher-end sticks included a Reebok Pro 11K "Werek" edition and a CCM Pro U+CL "Tangradi". Each stick listed for $119.99, but the Mystery Pack cost $149.98 for a savings of about $90.00. You can tell these are the better of the four sticks because for one they are lighter.
I haven't used any of the sticks yet, but will be soon and often. But I am pleased with the service and the deal I got with these packs. I'm an intermediate level player and I play in an adult rec. "B" league and pickup hockey, so in one way I'm not that particular on my stick, but on the other hand I want something that will last a couple of seasons and be lightweight with a nice curve. I'm looking forward to taping them up and giving all these sticks a try!
I requested a flat curve with a closed face and recieved some of the craziest open faced curves i have ever seen. They may be well made sticks, but (especially for a righty) you're getting the shapes they can't sell otherwise. Should have seen this coming.Review by Mark (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I gave a few details about my size and game - an adult beginner mostly playing forward and open to a variety of sticks. I got the Graf Ultra G75 Lite with a Kane blade, and an Easton Synergy 80 with the notorious E28 blade. They are both appropriate for my size, and they are radically different sticks focused on offensive play. With one I can dangle through the slot and make quick snipes, and with the other I can lug the puck through the neutral zone and fire lasers to the net. I might be glorifying my game a bit, and maybe I just got lucky, but this purchase has really impressed me with its personalized touch. I rant and rave about it to every player I meet, and will buy again.Review by Jake the Snake (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Got a Sher-Wood Rekker EK15 PP88, and a CCM Superfast P40Review by Rtan89 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Very pleased with HM's selection, will be purchasing the mystery Pack again. Both sticks fell between perimeters that where given and told them would write review, din't know how pleased i would be thoroughly impressed. Thanks Again!
I am writing the review specifically on the two stick mystery pack, and not the actual sticks themselves. Once I have used the sticks longer I will review each on the actual stick profiles.Review by Puck Spitter (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Like most I was hesitant with the idea of random stick assignment. But, I was pleasantly surprised! The sticks I received were a Sher-Wood EK15 ($150), and an Easton Synergy 80($130). I basically got the Easton for free! I have read reviews for each and I am excited to see what they can do.
I am a relatively new player. With only a little more then a year in, these sticks will be perfect to grow into. I was very open to what I wanted in a stick. All I cared about was flex as I am not a big player. In the comments section when ordering just describe yourself: position, height, weight, flex, and any important preferences. Try not to be to specific, they cannot match specific requests.
I also mentioned what stick I was currently using, and requested sticks slightly different. I only told them nothing to crazy and similar flex. Nothing else.
Quit thinking about it and just get this deal.
I did what everyone else said to do, gave the guys a background on my playing style and what curves I'm used to. Was sent exactly what I wanted, 2 pro stock sticks, one CCM RBZ Stage 2 and one True Euro. Both sticks are super light, I've never had a pro stock stick before, but the puck definitely zings off the blade quicker.Review by Loobs (Posted on 7/24/2016)
i was skeptical at first, two mystery sticks.Review by Weekend Warrior Ty (Posted on 7/24/2016)
i got two awesome sticks and i think they were better than what i would normally get. thanks hockeymonkey. i messed up my order, and they called me to fix the issue. great staff.
