I usually love Sher-woods equipment (sticks, gloves). To be quite honest I was looking forward to using this stick and probably have it for a couple of months and probably continue using it. I play defence for an elite team and from prior experience with other sherwood sticks (t100,t90) they're mid kick-point sticks, they were great for me.Review by gundi (Posted on 7/24/2016)
The EK15 is a low kickpoint stick meaning that its better for the type of player that is a sniper/dangler. Even though i'm an offensive defenceman i still take a hefty amount of slappers. Once I picked up the stick I couldn't believe how light it was. A few times on the ice and I was stunned how responsive it was. But, even at that the feel with the puck felt a bit odd. After a few games and practices I was pretty confident with it. Until it broke less than twenty days after I purchased it.
The EK15 is made for players who take more wristshots than slapshots. if you're the type of player that dangles than this stick is right for you.
in a nutshell if my friend was a speedy st-louis type of player i would recommend it. But for me, i'll stay with the t100.
