I got this stick as a gift and right from the start that I held the stick I can tell that this stick was light. I honestly didn't like the curve that came with it which was similar to Stastny but I knew by using this stick that my shot got faster. I used Bauer all my life but this stick made me change my mind. I recommend this to players who cannot afford 300 dollar sticks because this stick is good as it gets. Don't waste your money on sticks that costs 300 dollar when this stick is just as good as Bauer and all the other sticks. I honestly thought I would never use Sherwood but getting this as a gift made me realize that I shouldn't just stick to Bauer because of its name and all the flashy looks.Review by Kenny Wu (Posted on 7/24/2016)
This stick is straight up the best stick I have ever used (EK15,RBZ Stage 2,nxg,v9,and widow. The first time I stepped on the ice the sticks weight was unreal and felt like an extension of my arm. The first shots I took were unbelievebly fast and accurate. Now all my teamates want this stick because it is cheaper and better than any other top-of-the-line stick on the market.Final word, Amazing.Review by The sniper (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Never going back to Bauer sticks after this. The Ek15 is magical. My first game using it I saw a BIG improvement in my shot and play. Even the refs said I was playing great. So much pop in the blade. The stick is so light, it's ridiculous. GET THIS STICK.Review by Johnny (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I used to play AAA against Compuware and little ceasars.. Back then I used Bauer but I kept breaking them.. So I switched to ccm.. I bought 12 ccm crazy strings and they lasted me a year.. Now I play juniors and have had 1 of these and now has lasted me 5 months. Absolutely amazing stick.Review by halifax highlander (Posted on 7/24/2016)
This stick has to be one of the best I've ever had. I got this about a month later when it first came and I picked up the stick for the first time. This stick legit was the lightest stick on the market. I still think it is even compared to the Warrior QR1. I've owned an APX2 and this stick was lighter than that. It actually made the APX2 feel heavy. The EK15 is lightweight and easy to get a feel to. I got grip to get the Coffey curve and I did notice the grip was a little to grippey but it tends to wear off after awhile. This is durable enough for slapshots and snaps and easily handles wrist shots. Stick handling with this stick tends to have a different yet better feel than any other stick. Theres a different feel to the puck on the blade and the low kick point also justifies that when shooting. This stick I think has to be one of the best and lightest sticks out there still and I highly recommend getting this stick. The EK15 was my first Sherwood stick cause I used Reebok and Bauer before but I honestly might have to just buy another Sherwood instead of the new Bauer or Reebok coming out. This stick isn't to pricey and is very good at performing for top level players. Overall this is one of the best.Review by The Dangler 13 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
ive had this stick for a little over a week and i can already notice my shot speed and stick handling improving. i go through sticks very fast but have not noticed any chips or anything like that. all in all a great purchase.Review by nikolas (Posted on 7/24/2016)
Bought this stick because of its weight and low-kick point. Stickhandling and quick snap- and wristshots became much easier instantly. The overall feel of the stick is great. You always know where the puck is on your blade. Slapshots are still okay, but this stick clearly isn't made for hard slapshots, so if you want booming slappers you should look out for other sticks. Sadly, the stick broke after only 3 months of play during a slapshot from the faceoff dot. I am very disappointed and afterwards I've learned that Sherwood quickly released the EK60, which is enforced in the lower part of the shaft (right were my EK15 broke). Seems to me that Sherwood knew that the EK15 is not that durable. Therefore I would recommend buying an APX2 or 1X instead of the Rekker Ek15.Review by Bjoern (Posted on 7/24/2016)
