You have an x-small option in this pad. I'm a girl with a 34 chest should I go with the xs or just stick with the small? I was also considering the vintage 5030 pad is there any real difference in construction besides the added sternum and spine protection?

    Hi,

Do you have these or the sher-wood vintage 5030 Sr in large?

    Kind regards
    Christian

Feels like I'm wearing nothing at all!

Seen too many dislocated shoulders to risk not wearing any shoulder protection, and playing defence once in a while made me look for a lightweight, restriction-free solution. The 9950 pads are half the price of a padded shirt and honestly breathe better and offer more protection at slightly more weight.

Don't feel any light contact with boards or in play. Taken a few shots and aside from some hard ones, don't feel much. Don't expect to stop a Slapper without some stinging, but this isn't ballet.

Only thing is they are a bit short - barely cover down to the lower ribs. And the rear spine protector always catches your jersey when you're pulling it on.

So far the best solution, next to my original (now vintage) CCM's that sadly were lost.

The most I could ask for

When I first got them I was a bit worried because they looked short, yet once you put them on they're good. I've blocked some shots with it, and it doesn't hurt too bad despite the fact they're so light. Honestly the only time I notice them is when I take a hit in the chest and I see it didn't hurt. Overall they're really solid, buy them.
