If you thought TRUE was a new company, guess again. With over 14 years of experience and over 2 million sticks produced for leading hockey companies, TRUE is making a splash into the stick market by coming direct to you! As the world leader of golf shaft technology TRUE is set on providing the hockey industry with superior stick designs made from the highest quality materials and strictest manufacturing processes. Bent on providing pure domination at every level of the game, TRUE's latest elite pro stick, the Xcore 9 was designed with just that in mind.
TRUE utilized a high pressure clave molding process which they patented under the title “Axenic Technology.” The advantage of using this manufacturing process is it yields a true one-piece hockey stick which results in very consistent internal walls and shaft shape, a very low void content, pure uninterupted flexural energy transfer and of course an amazing balance and feel. Working alongside the Axenic Technology, Smartply Technology is the “recipe” TRUE implemented to optimize performance, weight and industry leading impact strength. Smartply tech is a laminate design that is used with up to 25 inner layers of unidirectional carbon fiber; the way the fibers are angled and the order of those angles are what control torsional stiffness and protect from impact damage while maximizing performance and durability.
The Xcore 9 is 100% 3K carbon fiber weave and has a graduated mid-flex profile for optimal performance and feel in all game situations. With TRUE’s Smartflex Technology, the top of the shaft is softer to allow the player to add leverage on wrist shots and increased feel. This tech is also applied from the center of shaft to the blade with a stiffer tip section that allows for stability and accuracy in the slapshot motion. The blade features the patented XCORE technology. A compressible urethane insert embedded into the core of the blade starting in the heel and extending just past the center. This technology will produce an average of 30% more rotational puck spin leading to less flutter shots and more heavier and accurate shots. XCORE technology also dampens and cradles the puck during passing and puck handling providing even more control and feel.
Xcore combined with two full length ribs that join the front and rear faces of the blade help prevent the foam core from breaking down and losing its stiffness. This provides unmatched accuracy, puck control, and "wood like" feel.
Made from the highest quality materials and strictest manufacturing processes, there is no doubt that the Xcore 9 stick is truly a game changer. From elite players to house league players, if you are looking for a stick that will provide unmatched accuracy, unmatched feel, and unmatched puck control, then TRUE’s Xcore 9 stick may be for you!

It was a great stick, but it is almost broken in four months. The stick was badly chipped on the first ice session but, otherwise, it was amazing.Review by CareyPriceFan31 (Posted on 6/5/2017)
Im a midget AA-AAA player and this stick had lasted longer than any bauer or ccm stick. It is very durable, light and the puck feels good on the blade. Slapshot and wrist shots feel great also, this stick is a great stick, i would definitely recommend to anyone out there looking for a durable strong good stick.Review by Colin (Posted on 6/5/2017)

This stick is very innovative, and I would argue that it is actually the most revolutionizing stick on the market. I got this stick on May 1st when it first came out and although it isn't as light as the A6.0 before it, it is still an amazing stick.Review by Landawg9 (Posted on 7/24/2016)
To the person that rated one star, you obviously haven't used the stick. It is one of the best sticks on the market right now. True put a very thin rubber insert in the blade and it helps to produce more spin on the puck. The spin makes the shot flutter less, thus making it more accurate.
Overall this stick is insane. Although its an expensive stick it is on par with Bauer, and Bauer charges $300 for their products.
I won this stick off of a giveaway, Right of the bat the feel to the stick in your hands is very balanced and pretty light weight. Kick points are very nice and the pop you get out of the stick is right on par with any of the top end sticks such as MX3 or ultra tacks. The only thing I dont like about the stick is the dempended puck feel. I am a guy who likes a more lively blade so it is going to take some time to get used to. Overall the slap shots and snap/wrist shots feel pretty amazing. I can tell the Xcore insert makes the puck stay on the blade all the way through the shot. I feel it did improved my accuracy quite a bit!Review by Hockey Player. (Posted on 7/24/2016)
