Details

The year 2000 saw the introduction of the first synergy stick and ever since they have been renown for responsiveness and powerful shots. An NHL goalie even once called for them to be banned

Now in its 10th generation, comes the Synergy GX, with greater puck velocity and boasting its lightest weight ever. How? ShotBoost technology.

  • Shot Boost: Additional springs in the corners of the shaft generate more blade speed and provide additional strength
  • Power Taper: Newly Engineered taper geometry allows players to transfer more power into the blade on every shot
  • Hypertuned2: Tailors the flex of each blade to the shaft flex to create a more responsive blade for every player
  • Hyperlite Design: Removes excess material in the taper for zero overlap to create a blade-light balance
  • Exo RimTM: Adds velocity through stability, powers the blade through the puck for improved velocity and accuracy
  • Hypertoe: Creates a stiffened toe region for more responsive shots off the toe of the blade
  • XTX Resin: A reinforced matrix with impact strength and stretch properties for shaft responsiveness and performance
  • One-Piece Stick: Seamlessly molds the shaft and blade for a true one-piece design

One of the Best Sticks ever

I like EVERYTHING about this stick. I have used it ever since it came out. Before this stick I used the model previous to it. In my opinion, this is the best stick out there.

Very disappointed

I probably shouldn't have spent nearly $200 on such an old model stick. I have previously had great luck with HockeyMonkey and Easton sticks, but this one came with a chip on the blade. It didn't have the same feel as my previous Easton's either. Big bummer!

Very Underrated Stick

For the last 4-5 years I have only used low-kick low flex sticks because I could not get enough of the quick release with such little effort. I got bored of the same feel and wanted to switch it up so I went with the Easton GX. Its a mid-flex 75 flex. This stick has a great feel to it. Easy to shoot and the flex profile really lets you lean into the shot to feel the flex. I like the longer blade on the E3 compared to most other curves too. The only complaint I have is I wish they made an E3 with 6 lie instead of 5 and 5.5. The resin on the blade is top notch too. Played about 8-10 games with it and not one chip. I ended up losing the stick getting slashed after a face-off, but other than that it was one of the most durable consistent sticks I've used in a while. I much prefer this over anything from CCM's line.

Great for casual play

My first composite was a Synergy and the tradition continues. This stick is very light weight and does most of the work when it comes to a quick wrist or snap. I use the E3 curve which makes the puck fly with little effort. The GX is very lightweight. Great for playing recreationally like a pick up or senior league.

Heavier stick than other top of the line sticks and broke after 5 games

This stick feels heavier on the blade than other top of the line sticks. It's not too bad but I would say it feels similar X900 or Warrior pro models. Performance wise was nothing special and it broke during my 5th game using it on the shaft when taking a slap shot.

Cool stick, but short

Been using mine 1 mounth. Like it a lot.
1.It is really lightweight.
2. Adequate flex. 85 = 85
3. Stiff edge, good hit
4. Short stick even for me, i'd prefer buying longer than 1620mm
