Bringing big changes to an already game changing stick, the Supreme 1S 17" model, is improving on what made its predecessor one of the top sticks on the market. Bauer made its MPK (Maximum Power Kick) more versatile, allowing for maximum energy transfer on shots. Also, by extending the transfer zone, the power that players have come to know on slap shots and one-timers will translate to snap shots. This extension allows players to load shots faster without sacrificing the power they expect from the Supreme line of sticks.

The biggest change for the 17 line comes in the RenewCore Blade. This new design contains a presurized gel core that will always remain in a liquid state. It improves the feel for the puck by absorbing energy every time the puck hits the blade, and transfers energy back to the puck when shooting. The gel also improves the life of the blade. As damage occurs inside the blde, the gel will fill the small cracks to help the blade continue to perform at a top level. For maximum power of your shot the Supreme 1S is the premier stick.

Player Profile Ideal for the power player that unloads explosive one-timers and bombs the heavy slapshot
Kick Point / Flex Profile High Mid-Kick point - Maximum Power Kick (MPK) stiffer lower portion of shaft that pushes the kick point even higher
Shaft Construction Monocomp Technology - true one piece stick using a single molding process.
TeXtreme Technology - ultra lightweight and strong carbon fiber
eLASTech technology - resin with carbon nanotube reinforcements
Shaft Geometry
Supreme Power Shaft with 1S Tactile - square, double concave walls and a ridged texture on the underside
Shaft Coating Griptac or non-grip (clear)
Shaft Taper Maximum Power Kick (MPK) - new taper geometry with lower taper initiation for max energy output with minimum effort
Blade Core
RenewCore Blade Technology
Power Sense 2 Blade Core
Blade Wrap TeXtreme Technology - ultra lightweight and strong carbon fiber

Good for defense

This stick is great for anyone who wants a very solid stick without a lot of bend. I picked this one because the stick I used before it had too much whip and felt like playing hockey with a noodle. The Supreme felt like a sturdy stick that only bent when you leaned into it. So sturdy in fact that if I bought another one, I’d probably go lower on the flex. The compromise was that I sacrificed a little feel for the puck, but slap shots and one-timers were way better with this stick compared to others I’ve used.

Durable, but lacking in feel.

This stick is great for defenders. It’s a very solid stick so maybe go for a stick with a bit more flee than you’re used to. The feel is a little rough, but lets out some serious kick on shots.

I recommend this product.

This stick has helped my shot improve a lot ( I was using too much flex before) . One thing I would say though is that the Toews curve kind of has a small toe so be careful when choosing that curve. It’s super light and I recommend it to anyone with some extra cash to spend.

Great Deal

I just got into hockey about a year-ish ago and I wanted to get a nice stick but didn’t want to spend a lot of money and this stick was the perfect answer. It has amazing performance and it is on sale. Amazing stick and even thinking about ordering another just to have. Definitely worth the money

Great Stick!

Some twigs are great some of the time, but this stick is great all the time. This twig is packed full of greasy snappers ready to light top corns and low cheese missies. The ones who wrote bad reviews just aren't your level king. Take this twig and light lamp champ!

Snapped right in half

I bought the stick on December 1st and the stick broke on January 19th... I am very disappointed in the quality of these 200+ dollar sticks. I mean I just flexed it at home and it snapped in two. I think I will get my money back from my credit card company. No Bueno :(((

decent stick but not durable

This stick is decently accurate and has a hard shot but I found it hard to stickhandle. Also the worst thing about it is that is not durable at all. I've bought 4 in a matter of 3 months and all 4 have broke. I should have realized earlier that this is not a stick I should be buying

Blade sucks

Shots seem so weak, hard to get snapshot off. Wrist shot and clapper do hard but compared to other ccm/bauer top of line sticks, it sucks. Blade feels bendy and hardly any feel for puck.

Very weak blade

I've always loved the supreme sticks and have been using them since the "total one". However this stick felt/feels really weak in the blade. So much so that I thought it was broken on multiple occasions. There are no visible cracks in the blade and just to make sure it wasn't all in my head I compared to my old 2016 1s, which actually has a chipping blade. Yet still my old 2016 1s definitely had stiffer blade and performed much better on shots. I don't know if this is a faulty stick or the way it was designed but the weak blade is definitely a huge negative for both shot accuracy and power.

Best Stick Ever

This is the best stick for clappers. The stick handling is good and so is everything else about the stick. All shots and passes are great. I’ve used a 1n and a 1x before and this 1s is my favorite. The 1x is good but you can’t put any power on your shots. The 1n is great maybe slightly better in accuracy and stick handling than the 1s but barely. Wrist and snap shots are similar, but the 1s is a bit better and more natural to load and flex. Clappers are decent on the 1n and the 1s has insane clappers. If it helps, I’ve heard rumors that Kane uses a 1s dressed as a 1x lite and based on the flex Laine puts on his stick, he for sure uses the 1s dressed as a 1x lite.
