If you thought TRUE was a new company, guess again. With over 14 years of experience and over 2 million sticks produced for leading hockey companies, TRUE is making a splash into the stick market by coming direct to you! As the world leader of golf shaft technology TRUE is set on providing the hockey industry with superior stick designs made from the highest quality materials and strictest manufacturing processes. Bent on providing pure domination at every level of the game, TRUE designed the A6.0 and rest of the “A” series line with just that in mind.

TRUE utilized a high pressure clave molding process which they patented under the title “Axenic Technology.” The advantage of using this manufacturing process is it yields a true one-piece hockey stick which results in very consistent internal walls and shaft shape, a very low void content, pure uninterrupted flexural energy transfer and of course an amazing balance and feel. Working alongside the Axenic Technology, Smartply Technology is the “recipe” TRUE implemented to optimize performance, weight and industry leading impact strength. Smartply tech is a laminate design that is used with up to 25 inner layers of unidirectional carbon fiber; the way the fibers are angled and the order of those angles are what control torsional stiffness and protect from impact damage while maximizing performance and durability.

The A6.0 is 100% 3K carbon fiber weave and has a graduated mid-flex profile for optimal performance and feel in all game situations. With TRUE’s Smartflex Technology, the top of the shaft is softer to allow the player to add leverage on wrist shots and increased feel. This tech is also applied from the center of shaft to the blade with a stiffer tip section that allows for stability and accuracy in the slapshot motion. The blade is outfitted with two full length ribs that join the front and rear faces of the blade. These ribs are more efficient at transferring energy and help prevent the foam core from breaking down, losing its stiffness and promoting more pop and feel. TRUE also added a nice non-skid, light sandpaper type of finish to their blade to add grip.

Made from the highest quality materials and strictest manufacturing processes, it is no doubt that the super light A6.0 stick is one of the best high performance sticks on the market. From elite players to house league players, if you are looking for a lightweight all-around pro stick with unparalleled strength, power and balance, then TRUE’s A6.0 stick may be for you!

Player Profile True's A6.0 was made for the NHL elite player all the way down to house league players. This is the all around pro stick designed for the player looking for unmatched raw power, balance and strength.

Love the stick

What do you do when you have a great product for $150.00? You read the positive reviews, immediately discontinue the stick, then come out with a new version that's not nearly as good. WHY?!?!?

Look... hockey sticks break... As of now, I don't think anyone has come up with a solution to fix this, so why not just leave this great stick alone and let people keep loving it? Nah... we'll discontinue it.

great feel grip peals

I bought this stick because CCM ribcor 40k was sold out of my curve. So I bought this (I had the int version a year ago and loved it but it broke after 3 months. The True a6.0 is a very durable stick it has great feel. It is a very good mid kick stick (i would recommend this over the nexus 1000/8000. Overall great twig and very durable my one complaint is that the grip started pealing after 1 practice at the varsity level.

Do your homework...

LOVED my True sticks...the feel is fantastic. Wicked hard & accurate shots. The sticks break easy. STUPID EASY! Can't afford to keep replacing sticks that don't last...NOT a good value.

Amazing stick

I have to say that I was skeptical about spending the money on a brand ive never tried before. Once I went to open hockey and tried it out I was amazed! True sticks are taking over with thier super lightweight carbon fiber sticks, great feel, and great style. I'll buy true sticks for the rest of my hockey career.

Best stick ever, with one terrible flaw

I bought the stick nearing the end of the hockey season. I used it in roughly 3-5 competitive games and about 5 nights at an outdoor rink. After my first use, I noticed a 1.5'' x 1.5'' gouge out of the blade, nothing too serious, but made me question the durability of the stick (also didn't know how that chip was acquired). During a game, I deflected an average wrist shot from the point off the shaft where the shaft merges with the blade's gritty texture. The stick split in half. However, I was totally impressed with the stick's performance before the breakage. The light weight, the feel (the shaft of the stick is quite smaller in diameter in comparison to most top end sticks), and the pop are unmatched, hands down.

I would recommend this stick to someone who plays casual hockey, or for competitive games if you can afford the risk.

Blade is very weak

Have had to ship back 3 of these sticks within a month. All three chipped at the toe of the blade after 1 stick/puck session. No contact that would lead to that other than a poor blade. The new blades on their new model supposedly are better. I've had to pay for shipping for each stick that has broken. Worst blade I have ever tried.

Excellent Stick for a great price

this stick is fantastic! i bought one to try it out for the price and couldn't be happier. it replaced my warrior hd1 as my primary stick. it's incredible light but still has great feel and power. i have no problem dropping big slapshot from the point or walking in and snapping off a shot at the dots. i was so happy i bought another as a backup. the finish is chipping of a little easily, but that's just aesthetics, doesn't effect the play at all.would highly recommend this stick, it cannot be beat for the price.

Great Stick

Great all around stick. Good feel, wrist/slap shots, great choice of blade patterns. True has done a great job with this one. You can get a quick release with this or lean into a one timer. Puck feel is great. No looking down needed. I have been big on CCM sticks, but the one BIG drawback with those is that they have the worst blade patterns, but with this true I am getting performance on par with CCM, but much better choices for curves.

Best One piece Ive tried yet!!

Awesome stick!!!

Ive tried most top of the line sticks, Reebok Ribcore, Easton RS stealth and Bauer and this is right there with all of them. Great puck feel and plenty of pop on ALL shots.
Only complaint is the toe has some chips from only a couple games but no cracking or spidering on the blade.
