Details

The new Super Tacks is really considered to be CCM's true all-in-one stick. Trusted Tacks performance has been taken to the next level with its two distinctive loading zones. It allows for maximum loading on both wrist and slap shots due to the different stiffness zones. The blade is even lighter than the previous version and the durability of the shaft has been increased. The new Super Tacks is a stick you can rely on no matter what the game situation.

  • New dual flex profile for a softer loading zone on wrist shots and a stiffer loading zone for slap shots
  • Improved AcuLite blade for better stick feel and great accuracy
  • Bumper technology has been improved by increasing the strength of the slash zone, increasing durability
  • Due to the nature of pro stock sticks, sticks may have minor cosmetic blemishes and/or may not be exactly as described
  • Shaft texture may vary, grip or clear finish
  • No warranty

      Amazing Balance

I love this stick, the kick point and balance are perfect and all-round. The pro-stocks are great value if you can find a curve you like.

      Stick Technology is Real

Coming off a long history (15+ seasons) of wood, aluminium composite and el cheapo 2-piece composites, this was my first "real" one-piece stick.

As a result, I can't really compare it to other composite sticks in this review, other than to gush about how far stick technology has progressed in the last 30 years.

The price on delivery put this in range of the bottom end of composites I had available to me locally.

I don't like griptac, but the griptac on these sticks has largely been unobtrusive and not interfered with my hand placement and I've already gotten used to it as a result.

The weight saving has immediately translated into faster hands, so much so that I'm still learning to keep up.

Dropped to a 75 flex low kick from an 85 flex mid kick and whilst my one-timer accuracy has suffered a little, until I learn to counteract the puck momentum, all my other shots have benefitted and I no longer need the perfect setup to get a lethal slapshot off. This is basically the first time in my life that I'm not embarassed by my slapshots.

Have only used the sticks for two weeks, unsure of longevity yet. Had a number of heavy stick on stick battles this weekend and so far no visible scratches, this Pro-stock durability myth might have some truth to it.
