Details

The Bauer Nexus 1N hockey pant is the top tier model in the latest Nexus pant line that features a classic construction to offer a wide, volume fit. This pant was designed to promote good mobility and an effortless stride with ultimate protection and coverage.

Bauer integrated Seven+ Technology and other high end materials to put this pant at a pro level of protection. Seven+ Technology is a molded foam specializing in multiple impact management. This foam is able to withstand repeated impacts of both high and low energies and still hold its natural shape significantly better than traditional foam constructions. Being Bauer’s ultimate line of protection, the Nexus 1N features this Seven+ Technology in the spine guard to minimize impacts with slashes, pucks, the hard ice surface and collisions with opponents.

Starting with the thigh guard, a 2-piece ergonomic PE plastic guard is used and has been made to comfortably wrap around the thighs. Moving on up to the hip, Bauer kept it simple with an effective molded dome construction PE cap that offers pro level protection. To reduce overall weight, the kidney guards have been outfitted with molded high density foam which is proven to be incredibly strong and protective.

To keep everything contained, a pro level 840 Denier nylon outer shell holds it all together with an abrasion resistant overlay in high contact areas such as the thighs and hips. To keep this pant incredibly mobile key flex panels feature stretchable fabrics. Like all of Bauer’s high end products, the 1N is lined in the patented 37.5 Technology liner. This is a revolutionary liner deemed as “hockey’s fastest drying fabric” made to evaporate sweat which keeps players dry and cool.

For easy attachment these pants use a mid-density padded belt system and come with a hockey lace to complete that traditional look. If you feel like the pants are too short, these come equipped with an adjustable extension fit of up to 1” in length. For an elite pant made to offer ultimate coverage, check out the Bauer Nexus 1N hockey pants.

Decent pants

I had my pants for a year and there some tear not massive ones just cosmetics tears from the washer and skating, the pants could have better durability. I like the feel and quality of the pants i fall all the time and never been injured. The only thing I don't like about the pants the kidney guard is really high its caught in things which gets really annoying. Overall just a decent pair or pants.

Junk

We bought these in August for my 2nd year pee wee. We replaced the GRAF pants he used the last three years without a hole in them. By the conclusion of the Thanksgiving tournament he has big holes in the rear of both legs. Just from skating. I would never buy these again. There is no value in these pants. The breathable material has zero durability. This kid is easy on gear compared to my other 3. Buy the CCM, these are $140 down the drain.
