CCM Jetspeed FT485 Senior Hockey Shoulder Pads

New for the 2021 season are the CCM JetSpeed FT485 Shoulder Pads! These new lightweight pads have been optimized to provide a great range of movement while featuring new tech to help keep you safer from impacts.

Moving right into the construction of the Jetspeed FT485 Shoulder Pads, CCM is using a dual layer front construction with PE foams. This low-profile design provides an extra layer of protection while providing improved flexibility. This is paired up with JDP shoulder caps with molded PE plastic to provide solid protection while staying incredibly light.

Moving down the arm to the biceps, CCM used PE molded caps with length adjustment for a custom fit on the arm. In the torso, CCM incorporated a protective layer of PE, which provides reliable protection that remains surprisingly lightweight. Also included is a removable belly pad which provides extra coverage if needed.

The Jetspeed FT485 Shoulder Pads have an anatomical molded PE sternum and Spine. This provides must have protection for these important areas. Up at the top, there is a segmented semi-floating clavicle coverage for protection that moves with you.

New for the 2021 season are the CCM JetSpeed FT485 Shin Guards! These new lightweight pads have been optimized to provide a great range of movement while featuring new tech to help keep you safer from impacts.

The construction of the CCM Jetspeed FT485 Shin Guards has been redesigned with a new anatomical narrow fit design. This design offers a connected fit that does not feel bulky and offers lightweight mobile protection optimized for competitive level of play. It achieves this thanks to the shell construction and the new anatomical PE foam + soft laminated liner. This liner is also removeable allowing for easy maintenance as well as protection and ventilation.

Moving to the knees and shin caps of the CCM Jetspeed FT485 Shin Guards, CCM used optimized anatomical JDP kneecaps. This improved kneecap flex point offers more freedom of movement and helps to disperse impact force away from the knee. This is paired up with tough PE foam calf guards and plastic inserts, which offer lightweight but tough protection.

PE foams are used in the thigh area of the Jetspeed FT485 Shin Guards, for even more reliable protection. To hold everything in place, CCM used a streamlined lock strap with a stretchable comfort cushion and an adjustable calf strap for a customized fit.

New for the 2021 season are the CCM JetSpeed FT485 Elbow Pads! These new lightweight pads have been optimized to provide a wide range of movement while featuring new tech to help keep you safer from impacts.

Moving right into the construction process, the CCM Jetspeed FT485 Elbow Pads use a hybrid 3-piece design. The new design has a floating bicep pad that helps increase mobility and natural movement with a light yet robust construction. The forearm is constructed of a molded PE cap insert to offer high level protection while helping achieve a great range of movement.

The floating bicep pad was constructed with a PE insert. This will offer high-caliber coverage around the bicep area and gives a close to the body fit.

For the elbow cap, the Jetspeed FT485 Elbow Pads will have a molded PE cap with JDP construction. The JDP cap is designed to disperse impact force away from the elbow joint and has increased protection with a reinforced EVA foam cover.

CCM also incorporated a newly designed three strap system on the JetSpeed FT485 Elbow Pads. This strapping features nylon and elastic straps that allow for a better customizable fit.
