The Vapor X6.0 is where Bauer moves away from its Monocomp, or true one-piece technology into fused stick technology where they actually take a shaft and a blade and combine them together. The X6.0, however, still incorporates all of the main benefits that can be found in the higher end models of Vapor sticks. One of the key features about the Vapor family of sticks is its shaft shape. The Vapor X6.0 uses the Micro Feel II shaft, which has double concave walls and rounded corners for easier stick handling and superior control. The Griptac finish on this stick just adds to these benefits with an added feeling of security while the stick is in your hands .
The Vapor X6.0 also boasts the Intelli-Sense Shot Technology. Since it uses fused technology, the Intelli-Sense kick points are moved up the stick slightly but essentially still works the same way. It has dual flex zones to maximize your shooting performance. Low Kick Flex helps to give you a quick release on wrist and snap shots, while that secondary Higher Flex Point adds power to your slap shots and one-timers.
Just like the higher end Vapor sticks, the Vapor X6.0 features the more structurally supported Pure Shot Blade Profile. This is an expanded throat design that adds structural support to where the shaft and blade are fused and helps to minimize blade deflection in order to increase accuracy .
The core of the blade uses what Bauer calls Aero Foam II material. This allows for the blade to be stiff and lightweight, while optimizing balance and crisp feel. This also helps to give that nice snap on puck release. Meanwhile, the outer portion of the blade features a 3K premium carbon fiber wrap.
