I have CCM and Bauer helmet, then tried Easton. Yes, first it's a bit different, not liked it. The liner is not very convenient. The adjusting size is different.Review by Kat (Posted on 2/12/2017)
However, the more I use it, the more I like it. Cause it's one piece helmet, sizing actually works better. Other helmets only adjust front and back, not side, so it's either too big or very tight on my side of head.
The solution for the liner is wearing a skull cap, which prevent liner get dirty or worn out faster. There is a replacement liner, but many times, it's often out of stock.
After a few times using the helmet the pads and the velcro started coming off. It is almost impossible to find the replacement pads in stock.Review by ZAC (Posted on 7/24/2016)
I bought this helmet on clearance and I guess I know why. It is very solid and sturdy. However, the one big issue is the sizing. Easton's sizing method is useless. It is a one piece with some sort of "Giro fit system". Well the giro fit system moves during the game, so it isn't really a permanent sizing solution. The helmet is a little more tight on me than I would like, and it cannot be sized properly. If you buy it you will just have to test your luck that it fits.Review by recreational player (Posted on 7/24/2016)
