These are for players who live on the attack, who fly into the zone outnumbered, and create time and space out of thin air. The Bauer Vapor FlyLite LE Senior Ice Hockey Skates introduce the most reactive and energized components we’ve ever put in a skate. Why? Because your game demands it.
Designed to harness the full extent of your hockey IQ, hyper-flexible materials found throughout the skate have been fused together to move with you and help you react and adapt at a millisecond’s notice. And with active elasticity properties, you can experience more energy in every stride while staying agile and elusive anywhere on the ice. The next era of Vapor is here. Get ready to fly.
Boot
Quarter Package: An all-new, flexible Fusion CURV material in the quarter panel helps offer more energy return when accelerating, transitioning and stopping. A Fly tendon design moves with the leg to minimize energy loss.
Facing/Flex: The Fusion Flex facing design features five strategically placed notches for increased forward flex, acting like a spring to load and unleash more energy in every stride for explosive acceleration and speed.
Toe Cap: A fusion connect toe cap offers an updated rounded forefoot geometry to minimize energy loss and allow for tighter turns and cuts.
Tongue: The Aerolite 3.0 tongue offers enhanced forward flex to pair with the Fusion Flex design and added protection.
Interior
Lining Material: A Lock-Fit Pro liner offers both comfort and a grip to keep the foot in place throughout the skating motion.
Ankle Padding: Aerofoam Pro comfort material lines the ankle to increase comfort and reduce wear.
Footbed: Similar to the liner, the foot bed features Lock-Fit Pro material including Grip Print to reduce slippage and keep the foot in place throughout the stride.
Holder/Runner/Sole
Outsole: A Fusion Flex outsole works in tandem with the Fusion CURV materials in the quarter to offer more energy return when accelerating, transitioning and stopping.
Holder: The Powerfly holder return; a stiff front post increases energy transfer, while a flexible back post offers faster lateral movement, improving speed and agility throughout the ice.
Runner: The FlyLite is compatible with Bauer’s “Fly” steel model, and the LE Comes stock with the the harder, premium coated Fly-Ti model.
Built for elite players who play fast and rely on quick cuts and acceleration. Ideal for forwards or mobile defensemen who are aggressive on their edges.

When you receive your skates, try them on and push your foot forward so that your toes (while flat) barely glance the toe cap. Bend your knee forward and look behind the heel of your foot down the skate. If you can fit a finger behind the heel easily, the skates are too big. A fingertip should be securely wedged between the heel of your foot and the back side of the skate.
While all players might have their own preference for fit, hockey skates should be 1 ½ sizes down from your shoe size. For most players this will be close to the proper fit. For example, if you are a U.S. Men’s shoe size 9, you would want to go with a skate size 7.5.
Fit 1: Low Volume/Narrow Width
Fit 2: Medium Volume/Medium Width
Fit3: High Volume/Wide Width
