Jump into roller with the Bauer XRS Intermediate Roller Hockey Skates, skates that offer a familiar look and feel to traditional ice hockey skates. A thick, padded tongue helps reduce lace bite during hard turns while the thermoformable upper and padded ankle are designed to keep you comfortable when your game ramps up.
Boot
Quarter Package: An Injected comp weave quarter offers a blend of comfort and protection.
Thermoformable: A thermo-adjustable upper allows for a personalized fit.
Tongue: An anatomical 2-piece felt tongue offers a traditional, comfortable feel while the insert helps to reduce lace bite.
Liner: Microfiber liner offers comfort and breathability to help keep the foot cool and dry.
Holder/Runner/Sole
Chassis: Inspired by the Powerfly holder, the FLEXLITE chassis is a one-piece chassis that features similar torsional flex points to help experience enhanced agility while turning and accelerating. Approximately 50% lighter than its steel counterpart, it’ll feel like nothing is holding you back.
Wheels: XRS skates come with the Bauer Court Wheels installed in a Hi-Lo setup, two smaller wheels in the front and two bigger wheels in the back, to help keep a forward leaning stance for added stability and ready to play straight out of the box.
The XRS skates offer a snug fit that adapts to your movements, enhancing both comfort and support with the R Fit.

When you receive your skates, try them on and push your foot forward so that your toes (while flat) barely glance the toe cap. Bend your knee forward and look behind the heel of your foot down the skate. If you can fit a finger behind the heel easily, the skates are too big. A fingertip should be securely wedged between the heel of your foot and the back side of the skate.
While all players might have their own preference for fit, hockey skates should be 1 ½ sizes down from your shoe size. For most players this will be close to the proper fit. For example, if you are a U.S. Men’s shoe size 9, you would want to go with a skate size 7.5.
Fit 1: Low Volume/Narrow Width
