Material: RFM Composite material is an NHL-caliber composite material that is lightweight and offers enhanced durability. A sleek chrome graphic offers a rich design that looks just like the pros.
Stiffness: The XF 90 features a stiffness rating of 180; a lightweight, stiff and thermo-formable core combine to offer ultimate performance.
Tendon: An all-new Flex Tendon 3.0 allows for greater extension on strides, which translates to increased speed and power.
Interior
Liner: The XF 90 features a Totaldri moisture wicking liner to keep feet dry and the skate lightweight. The liner is treated with Polygiene antimicrobial materials to fight odor and bacteria. An Added EVA foam layer throughout the skate hug the feet for major comfort.
Comfort & Ankle Padding: A multi-layered memory foam configuration with offers next level comfort and an elite fit that wraps anatomically around the foot.
Tongue: The tongue of the XF 90 features a Tritech construction. A 7mm black felt pairs with a molded foam core to perfectly wrap the foot for superior on-ice fit and comfort. An injected EVA foam lacebite pad offers protection with a redesigned construction for better forward flexion in the skate for added comfort.
Footbed: A molded CCM Ortholite Ultra footbed offers ultra-lightweight comfort, and a molded fit.
Holder/Runner/Sole
Midsole: A lightweight midsole offers enhanced energy transfer from the boot to the blade, minimizing energy loss with each stride.
Holder: CCM’s Speedblade XS holder returns; a quick-release design with metal pin and bladelock system.
Runner: The XF 90 will feature Step Steel (+4mm), Step Steel’s highest quality steel, with increased height and a 3mm thickness, offering better edge control to allow the player to dig into the ice with confidence.
Fitting: To ensure your skates fit properly, push your toes forward against the toe cap, and check the gap between your ankle and the skate's boot with your fingertip. Ideally, your skates should hug each side of the foot without creating painful pressure points or leaving too much space between the foot and the liner.
Youth & Junior Skates: If needed, skates a half-size up can offer growing players some additional room-to-grow, but further up-sizing is not recommended. Fitting skates with too much room in the boot will not support the players ankles and feet as designed, leading to painful blistering and greatly increasing the risk of ankle injury.
